Our Favorite Snowmass Rental
We rented an absolutely beautiful condominium, #48, at WOODRUN PLACE over Spring Break this year. In the many years we have been on ski vacations, WOODRUN PLACE is our favorite lodging choice! We give this condo a 5 star rating!
The balcony, living room, dining room and master bedroom of #48 overlooked the VILLAGE EXPRESS chairlift ski area. The view was fascinating…constantly changing and always interesting.
We could ski-in and ski-out easily and the large ski-locker room made preparing for the day and ending each day simple. And the easy walk to town (about 1/2 mile) was delightful.
The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the large dining room table provided, not only ample space for our family of 7, but plenty of room for games and conversation!
The property was well-maintained and any calls and questions were addressed immediately.
We would definitely stay at the WOODRUN Place on future trips and highly recommend this unit to visitors to Snowmass.

Unit 57 was sheer bliss!!
Stayed at Unit 57 during January and , despite the marginal snow conditions, we had a fantastic stay. This unit is direct ski in/ out right on Fanny Hill The unit is well appointed, spacious, comfortable with great views. The unit has a private elevator which opens directly into the unit which made loading gear and supplies easy. You can walk to Snowmass mall and the new base village for food and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful Great unit and a great stay

Woodrun Place is Good,But Do Not Stay in Condo #2.
We stayed in Woodrun Place this past week. I just received an email asking for my opinion of the place, so I thought I would post it online so others can be helped. The overall resort was nice. Great ski locker and "dude" helping out. Very easy ski in and ski out on Fanny Hill with easy access to Village Chair and Gondola. Hot tubs, Sauna recently remodeled were nice but very crowded. Location is great as you can easily walk to the base village.
Our condo, though was not as advertised and actually not really acceptable for humans to stay in. Our friend stayed in a similar condo #20 that was really nice with rugs and working heating.
Good points about Woodrun Place #2- easy access from the parking lot, spacious, and kitchen is newly renovated.
Problems with Woodrun Place #2: The heat does not work. We contacted the front desk- who first pretended to send someone to check it out, but later we found out that maintenance knows about this issue, it is a known issue with Woodrun Condo #2 and cannot be fixed. To solve things they gave us 4 space heaters. That would be great if this were a cheap Air BnB, but this was advertised as "Platinum level" condo, over $1,000/night.
The decor is horrible, with a plastic Fake wood looking floor that is peeling up and one can only imagine why they have floor like this.
Management would not let us move, pretended to try and fix a few times, so we gave up. They sent an apology letter and some bad chocolate, and when my wife tried to complain, they said they would give us 25% off we rebooked next year (no thanks!!!) or $250 for dinner in Aspen (which covered a nice bottle of wine).
Woodrun Place itself seems like a really nice place, but this Woodrun Place Condo #2 is a real dud.

magical family xmas thanks to woodrun place
We had the most amazing family stay here at Woodrun Place due to so many factors. Firstly the apartment complex itself is amazing ! our condo was so incredibly spacious and spread over 3 levels and we had ample room to host a wonderful Xmas lunch with family and friends. Taylor and Emily on reception are so very helpful and go out of their way to help in anyway. would highly recommend staying here ! and we will be back !

Amazing Stay in Snowmass Village
A group of us went to Aspen for a backpacking trip and chose to stay in Woodrun Place Condominiums. The Condo floor plan was excellent for us with private bed and bath. The Condo was clean with a full kitchen; it has good view of the mountains and gondolas. Facility is also well maintained. Would love to stay a week or more next time.
