★★★★★ A Refreshingly Unique Stay at Studio Haus by Kasa – Austin, Texas
My stay at Studio Haus by Kasa was a refreshingly unique lodging experience. The hotel is only about a year old, and you can still feel that sense of newness throughout the property. The minimalist design is clean, modern, and consistent from the moment you arrive.
My room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bed provided an excellent night’s sleep, making it easy to recharge after long days attending my industry convention at the Hilton Austin.
One of the reasons I chose Studio Haus was its value. It offered a much more cost-effective alternative to staying downtown while giving me the opportunity to experience a vibrant East Austin neighborhood that I otherwise might have missed.
The location was another major plus. There were plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. One evening I had dinner at the pizza restaurant next door, which turned out to be owned by fellow Detroit natives—my hometown! The pizza was outstanding, and discovering that hometown connection made the experience even more memorable.
I also appreciated being just steps away from Huston-Tillotson University, the oldest college in the Austin area, founded in 1875 and one of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities. As someone who enjoys exploring local history and culture when I travel, it was a wonderful bonus to have the campus directly behind the hotel.
What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Everyone I encountered was courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Even though the property operates with a modern, technology-driven approach, the off-site team maintained excellent communication through text messages and responded promptly whenever I had a question. That level of attentiveness made me feel well cared for throughout my visit.
Would I stay at Studio Haus by Kasa again? Absolutely. In fact, I’ve already recommended it to friends and colleagues who travel to Austin. If you’re looking for a clean, modern, reasonably priced place to stay with excellent service and a great East Austin location, Studio Haus by Kasa is well worth considering.

Wonderful location on 6th Street in Austin! Lots of places to eat, easy walking, and friendly staff made this an enjoyable trip! Comfortable and well-designed studio apartment with clean accommodations! This is a Go-To place to enjoy Austin, TX.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The music is so loud that you can’t hear yourself talk inside the room. Totally uninhabitable. We lasted 5 mins and they refused to refund our money

Very very good thanks
I arrived 21 days ago and frankly I had a dream stay with a great team that does not leave you in nature that explains everything that welcomes you with open arms with bursts of laughter and incredible exchanges they accept to learn French and I English and it's really great because even when we come alone here we are never lost he tells you the best places where it is and as soon as you have a problem they are there for you I had a problem with my suitcase and they waited for me I was a little late for the Checkout and they waited for me it's really incredible I recommend to all couples the family and people alone really it's great. We have really free amenities to wash our laundry have an iron possibly a vacuum cleaner if ever but frankly I have never seen such a perfect service it is really great by account when you arrive check your documents well because otherwise you do not receive the code you really have to read to the end and follow the procedure well. Frankly everything is prop it's really great and I really thank the whole team for making me spend a dream vacation because on my own I found myself with a whole bunch of people around me benevolent.

This was the perfect spot to walk to lots of different food, bars, and music venues along 6th street. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone traveling with the partner or friends/family.
Really clean too, and they have on site laundry. Everyone at the desk was very friendly too!
