Another Great Stay at Icona Avalon
Just returned from our 7th trip to the Icona. Always a pleasure to stay at this resort. Amanda at the front desk made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. Wanted to also recognize the wonderful beach staff and service including Taylor, Santi, Jaden, Lucas, Louis, and Nico. They always provide top notch service. Can’t wait to return again next year! Always great to see Randall as well!

Perfect & easy family hotel at the shore
Our family of 5 (kids are ages 10-14) stays at Icona every year, and it's such a great experience. Beach access and pool/hot tub access is SO easy and the kids have a blast going back and forth. The staff is really kind and helpful...especially Pasquale in the cafe who makes every morning awesome with his personality, friendliness and great coffee...he makes every day start out on a positive note. Also, Anthony who drives the shuttle was so awesome and accommodating when we had special requests. Randel the manager was incredibly helpful to work with us and several friends that also stayed. The rooms are clean and spacious and the food/drinks at the beach bar and pub are great - plenty of options for all.
Few cons - The quality of the beach chairs and pool / beach towels are pretty poor for the price of the hotel..and there is very little closet space in the room. But this pales in comparison to all the positives. Overall - HIghly recommend!

Best hotel on the 7 mile island!
My family has been coming to the Windrift and Goldens Inn (now Icona) for over 30 years. This recent experience at Icona brought back so many amazing memories! We had delicious food at both hotels (Mahi mahi was a huge hit). This property on the 7-mile island holds a very special place in our hearts. We absolutely loved our stay and we were blessed with wonderful staff as well (thank you Pasquale for supplying great coffees in the AM!). Can’t wait for our next visit.

Lovely beach resort
We have stayed at several of the Icona resorts (Diamond Beach, Wildwood) and (Cape May).
This particular one was, by far, the most superior. Loved the dunes on the beach. We very much enjoyed the two "attached" restaurants (Brew Pub and Avalon Prime).
Adorable beach bar. Complimentary beach chairs/ loungers and towels.
Our favorite thing during our several night stay was Pasquale, the barista at the Shimmers bar that doubles as a Starbucks in the early part of the day. He was charming and personified the phrase "service with a smile!"
We are sure to return!
