It was great for a night stay to rest while traveling . Great options for food and coffee close by as well.

location was ok, we could’ve got a better room somewhere else for 10-20 more but it was non refundable. the rooms are outdated but it is one of the cheaper hotels. one of the bedsheets were stained. the lampshade covers had food or something on them and we had some moths already in the room. the microwave didn’t really work to warm up our food it was still pretty cold. the couch/chair in the room had stains all over it. the shower was not the nicest looking. looked like it was molding or something. the ice room was weird had a bad smell as well

Quality customer care still exists

Our family will never forget the kindness we experienced at the Rodeway Inn in Baker City.
What started as a simple trip turned into a stressful ordeal when my son’s truck suffered a catastrophic engine failure in Baker City. After five days of trying to coordinate towing, trailers, and the drive back to Salem from Utah, we were exhausted and running out of options.
The owner/manager went far beyond what anyone would expect. Throughout the week, he personally helped us secure a trailer that would safely haul the truck home. He even drove to another town to pick up a trailer that met the required specifications and spent time working with U-Haul on our behalf to make everything happen. That’s not customer service—that’s genuine care.
When it became too late to continue our trip, we stayed at the Rodeway Inn. My wife is very particular about hotel cleanliness and usually brings her own linens, but she was genuinely impressed with how clean and comfortable our room was. The staff also brought us an extra bed for our unexpected overnight stay without hesitation, making a difficult day much easier.
If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in Baker City with an owner who truly cares about his guests, this is the place to stay. We travel this route often, and because of the way we were treated, the Rodeway Inn will be our first choice every time we’re in Baker City.
Thank you for turning one of the most stressful weeks our family has had into a reminder that there are still people who genuinely go above and beyond.. Stopping in Meridian or driving straight through. We’ll stay here again. On purpose

I had Wild Land Fire Fighters staying at this hotel. We booked the rooms for a week but ended up only staying for 3 days as they got moved to a different side of the fire. This hotel still charged me for the full week even though my guys were not there. They told my guys to leave the keys in a certain room when they needed to check out and they did. Unfortunate how first responders are treated at this place. My guys are fighting a fire close to this town and clearly this hotel couldn’t care less. I don’t recommend it and will definitely be letting other first responders on this fire to not stay there.

Just a quick one night stay. Room was comfortable and bed was clean. It was a pet friendly room as I had my dog with me and it wasn't bad for the price. Staff was courteous and friendly. Good location with walking distance to several restaurants.
