Room was sufficient for what we needed. Air conditioning unit didn’t cool well. Tv cable didn’t work at all kept going in and out couldn’t watch tv at all. Parking wasn’t included and didn’t know that the garage was specifically for the hotel. Er parked across the street with no problems. Similar cost.

Room was not ready at 4pm even though check in is 3pm. Never checked in because we could not wait around for hours. Hotel clearly can't handle fully booked hotel.

Beware of long check-in times if there are a lot of events going on all at once in Baltimore -- the hotel's proximity to a lot of concert and sports venues makes it an ideal and affordable option, but also means they seem to be easily overwhelmed by demand. The air conditioning in the lobby was not working when we checked in, but there were multiple fans running at least. The staff seemed to be doing everything in their power to check in dozens of folks all at once, so I don't really hold it against them. They seem genuinely understaffed. But, with that being said, it's a very basic and, in some ways run-down hotel. The pool is closed and overgrown, there was an ice machine on our floor but it was loud and leaking -- and I don't think we even had an ice bucket to use anyway. Luckily the room itself was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The parking process is easy too. Don't come here expecting the Ritz, but it could certainly be worse. Just use your best judgment, give yourself a lot of time, and if you're only there for one night just make the best of it if you can!

I hardly ever leave reviews. This was an awful experience for us and for many other guests. We were traveling to Baltimore for a concert. We arrived at 1:30pm. No one was at the front desk. When someone showed up she was very unfriendly. Check in wasn’t unavailable until 3 pm. That was understandable because there was a concert the night before which was also sold out. We were instructed to come back at 3pm. We arrived back at 3:15pm to find that 100’s of other guests were told the same thing and waiting to check in. The line wrapped around the lobby into the hallway and back. Estimated wait time was just over an hour. It was over 90 degrees in the lobby. We had to remove clothing due to extreme temperatures. The kicker, rooms were not guaranteed to be ready even after all of this. The receptionist (unfriendly one) was blaming housekeeping. After waiting in line for over an hour, fortunately, our room was ready. My wife had invited two nice women into our room to let them get ready because their room (and 100’s more) were not ready. The concert was beginning shortly. This was the extremely stressful.
We returned back to the hotel at 1am (concert ran late) to find that poor guests were still trying to be checked in. The line was the same. This is absolutely poor management and lack of staffing.
The hotel itself was less than average at best. Hotels.com should seriously consider their partnership with this property. There should be some minimum standards.

We came to town for a concert. When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t check in early, which we were okay with and understood. That is where it goes downhill. We got back to the hotel at around 2:45pm to be ready to check in. The lobby was starting to fill up with other guests also waiting to check in. It hit 3:00pm and we wanted to check in. Only to find out our room wasn’t ready. The lady at the front desk told us it would “maybe” be ready in a hour but they will call/text us when it was ready. There were between 70-75 people and it was very hot in there. They plugged in a fan which didn’t do much. Not only that, while the maintenance guy was trying to plug the fan in, one of his tools cut my friend’s leg. He didn’t say excuse or even apologize. At this point, it was 4:00pm and the concert started at 5:30pm and we had to get ready. We had to go back to our car to do so. My wife tried to call at least 5 times to check the status and we could never get through to talk to anyone. We went to our concert and got out at 12:30am. Still never received a call or text from the hotel. We said forget it and drove home. There was no communication from staff and the handling of this was terrible. I don’t understand how you are not prepared for a big weekend like this. A major artist coming to town, and you drop the ball. I booked this hotel months in advance and clearly they were not prepared. You need to do better!
