Very good!

Really nice place! Staff is very kind and helpful. Our room felt very clean and comfortable. Honestly it felt like we were at home! We booked for the location and ended up having an even better time than we expected!

Perfect

We had the absolute best time at Hearthside! The staff was so friendly (thank you Catherine and Juliana!) and the chef, Megan, was amazing. I saw all of the positive reviews before coming here and yet I was still so impressed by the quality of this place, from the staff, to the cleanliness, to the building itself, and to the food!
I have recommended this place to all of my friends and family and I would recommend it to anyone! You will feel like family while being treated like royalty. Juliana and Catherine know all of the best places to go, when to go, how to get there, and they probably know somebody there that will treat you just as well. Megan also made the best quiche I’ve ever had! They have a fixed menu for breakfast and it is divine so please make breakfast here a priority!
Hearthside Inn is worth every penny and then some. It may not be oceanfront, which was what we were originally looking for, but we sound so much more in this beautiful home.

Hearthside was such a pleasant surprise on a long road trip. First off, it beats almost any B&B I’ve ever experienced for cuteness appeal. The location is top notch. Very walkable, but just far enough from the bars to avoid any noise and shenanigans. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and best of all, the breakfast was amazing. We had a bell pepper frittata. Chef’s kiss. Oh, and make sure to get there in time for 3pm tea time! The strawberry basil lemonade and baked goods were out of this world!

Great place to stay in Bar Harbor! All the staff were really helpful and kind. The breakfast and afternoon treats were delicious. It is so close to walk to all the restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay.
