NO POOL OR HOT TUB as shown in pictures on this site

I come to trip advisor for many trips. Actually, probably ALL trips. I booked this hotel based on the pictures here as well as checking the floor plan of the hotel itself. For this being a Curio Hilton Hotel I had very high expectations of this property. Imagine the disappointment when I found out that there actually was NO POOL l or hot tub at this hotel as pictured many times. Whosecresponsibility is it to make sure the pictures are up to date?? TripAdvisor and the hotel were both pointing fingers at each other ( even though the captions under the pictures show that they are provided by management). If I had known that there was not going to be a pool at this property I would have stayed somewhere else for the price i paid.
Another thing was that they talk about the coffee station on every floor. Not everyone drinks flavored creamer and that's all that they had at these coffee stations. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they mentioned that they have actually had a lot of people mentioned that to them and that they have passed on this information to the higher-ups but for some reason no regular creamer has been provided at all. I had to go to the restaurant to ask for some for my coffee.
I will not be coming back to this hotel again. The staff was very nice but I could have definitely had the same experience at one of the other hotels in the area or even an Airbnb. Pictures on these hotel sites are definitely deceiving. I have included pictures of where the fire pit was ( right by the main road). So I guess my advice would be to always call hotels ahead of time to make sure that they actually have the things shown in the pictures here. It seems that hotels don't coordinate with TripAdvisor to make sure the pictures are up to date and accurate.

SMALL ROOM for a King Premium Lakeview

We reserved a Premium King Lake View, Hotel was clean, staff very friendly, they are doing some renovations, but generally a lovely hotel. My only complaint, I travel more than 30 days a year in hotels, this is without a doubt, the smallest hotel room I ever stayed in. The bathroom is so small I can sit on the toilet, take a shower, and brush my teeth at the same time. Two people can NOT pass in the bathroom without touching each other. Based on the way the hallway moves left and right, other rooms are larger. I would have thought asking for a preimium king Lake view room, the rooms especially the bathroom, would have been larger. Seriously, there was barely enough room in the bathroom for a shower, toilet and sink to fit

Great dining on property

We arrived for our check-in late on a Tuesday and were so pleasantly surprised at the fantastic meal we had at Original Skiff. Moses elevated our experience with his knowledge and warm personality. Don't miss the hush puppies!

Property itself is amazing and so central to everything. Staff is very helpful. We didn't go to the onsite restaurant but it looked really fun. Room was fine but bed was uncomfortable and the prices at Lilly Mays were crazy even for a hotel
