I hope everyone remembers this is a 102 year old hotel and if you're looking for modern amenities and conveniences maybe stay somewhere else. I loved this hotel. The lobby was amazing and the staff friendly. If I'm in Butte, I will definitely be booking again.

Lobby is beautiful but it ends there. Room was dirty, used dirty wash rags left in the shower, black hair all of the walls of the shower. Tv did not work. No central a/c, portable unit was loud and couldn’t cool room. They put us in a room on the /nd floor that faced a wall instead of any room with a view when the hotel was empty. Would never recommend this place

Historic and nostalgic

Definitely a historic art deco hotel. Caring and attentive staff. The place is old but they’ve modernized the rooms to the best of their abilities. The rooms a 100 yrs ago were SO tiny! So most rooms are two rooms put together into a suite. I love that our rooms had a bathroom and a half and the rooms. The rooms are clinically clean especially the bathrooms and the beds. The wifi is good and the mezzanine has meeting rooms and a bookshelf. There is no AC but they have a large AC “window” unit that works well and ceiling fans. There is NOT a cafe but it’s an original sign from the cafe of yesteryear. Went there for a wedding and I was very impressed with the venue. Downtown Butte is fun to walk around, farmer’s market just around the corner on Saturdays.

Amenities were non-existent. I feel like since there are no convenience stores in the area, the hotel could have at least provided bottled water. There was a vending machine but it was out of water. The hotel bar was not even open during our stay which was disappointing.

Very cool location with a lot of historical touches. The room was basic but very clean, and did have amenities. I was not really expecting. My only complaint was the shower. With the cloth curtain and the dated fixture, water got everywhere unless the showerhead was directly pointed at the shower wall.
But overall, a good experience.
