Staying at Budget Express Inn

This is my favorite little hotel just across the beach! These kind and dear people who run this hotel make a person feel like a part of the family. The lady of the house is quite lovely, she always gave me a clean, nicely appointed room with everything working. Having stayed in hotels in numerous countries and of many different price ranges, I find myself returning to Budget Express Inn in Daytona over and over. Thus far I have rented rooms from them over three seasons and a couple of years and have always enjoyed the clean, quiet atmosphere of their hotel.

Quaint motel, decent value

I stayed here for three nights during the March 2017 BikeWeek. I found it to be clean, quiet, comfortable, and a decent value for the price. It is definitely older; in the style of a 1960's motor lodge. However, it was pleasant and I enjoyed interacting with the staff.

Great Value and Very Clean and Tidy

We recently spent four nights in Daytona Beach and stumbled upon this hotel. The hotel was great value across from the beach. The room was a little dated but was spotless. The hotel is very well maintained by the owners. Would stay again.

Dishonest Owners.

The rooms are average. The foreign owners are creepy and unfriendly, but worst of all CROOKS. They charged my credit card twice for a one night stay and when confronted refused to fix the problem. Had to dispute charges with the bank to get a refund for the extra night charge. Stay anywhere but here!

It was mediocre

I went here for spring break of 2016. The owners were very nice and friendly. The housekeeper is a little weird and creepy. They always came in our room when we told them no room service. The beds are fine but the blankets are very thin, so I would bring your own blanket. The bathrooms are old, but they will do. I would just hide anything valuable while staying here considering it is a motel. The bathroom window seems to be glued shut which is strange. They do have an air conditioner and it works fine. Microwave and fridge work fine too. No coffee maker. There's no clock as well. Nothing seemed to be taken from us. The very good part was they had a tv that has all HD channels and cable. There is no cable guide so one will have to figure it out on your own. Location is great though, right across the street from Daytona beach! If you do not like traffic noise, then this may not be your place. You can hear the cars all the time here since its on a busy road. 2.5/5
