Great hotel awesome service

My experience was awesome! Since the moment I checked in until I left, everyone treated me really well, and made me feel appreciated and welcomed.
The facility is so nice, very minimalist and modern ambiance, the rooms are just the right size (most likely European size) and quiet and comfortable.
The location is in Denver downtown and very walkable to all kind of activities.

Room was so small. Only enough room to walk around the bed. No space for luggage. No luggage stand. Sink is in the room. Counter space reminds me of European bathrooms, almost nonexistent. Terrible lighting. Bed was too soft. For the price, I’d have to say I won’t be staying here again.

Unfortunately the front desk staff really impacted our stay in a negative way. After having prepaid for a reservation a month prior, we were told only AFTER our deposit was taken the room we had was not available and only downgrades were available. This however wasn't actually true, after speaking with the general manager, the room I had reserved was suddenly available and waiting on us. The room was double booked, and to Dan and Phil who also booked the room and the unpleasant experience that went with it, I do hope you were comped well. If Populus wants to compete with establishments such as The Crawford, the front desk and operations will need to improve considerably.

Such a beautiful property. They have a strong commitment to sustainability and create a serene stay. The onsite dining is also fabulous.
