Top notch hotel and food!

This place has recently been refurbished and updated. Ours beds were comfortable and the environment is quiet, a bit away from the center of the college. We got top notch service from the staff and the bistro, especially the bistro manager. The bistro menu was not large but they actually served food that was much better than the typical hotel food. It was also possible to modify the orders so that you could customize what you wanted to eat. There was plenty of free parking and there were 3 or 4 EV charging stations. We would definitely stay there again.

Just Don’t.

Baffled with the “great!” reviews here. Stayed for one night at end of July as we were traveling through Eugene. Really awful. When we stepped out of the elevator (second floor) to check in, front desk guy was too busy hanging out of the open window having a cigarette. We were the only people there. Still had to get his attention. He hadn’t shaved in days and looked like he just rolled out of bed. Property had recently been “renovated” (we didn’t realize this when we booked) and the room reeked of carpet glue and new paint (not in a good way). We were too tired (and it was late) to go elsewhere. Price was way too high for this low-level accommodation.

Hello WinklersFour,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention and for taking the time to share your feedback. I sincerely apologize for your experience, especially your initial interaction with our front desk. The level of professionalism you described is not the standard we expect from our team, and I will be addressing this internally.
I'm also sorry that the odors associated with our recent renovation affected your stay. We understand how unpleasant that can be and are continuing to take steps to improve the freshness of our guest rooms.
I regret that your stay did not reflect the experience we strive to provide. If you are willing, I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you personally and learn more about your visit. I can be reached at (541) 335-8600.
Thank you again for your feedback, and I hope we have another opportunity to serve you in the future.

Very clean room, coffee available in the morning at their own little Starbucks, walking distance to Ducks stadium.

They charged us 3 times for our accommodations. They wouldn’t take our calls after we realized they overcharged us.

My stay was on the first day available as a Marriott hotel. The Bistro was not open on day one but was quite good the rest of the stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were clean and fresh. Will stay there again.
