This was a great place to stay on our recent trip to Evart. We gave 5 stars for the areas of staff (very helpful and friendly) and cleanliness; our room was immaculate, and the rest of the hotel was very clean as well. This hotel is a bit dated and the carpet was worn in a few places, but the excellent staff, cleanliness, and convenient location (right next to the Osceola County Fairgrounds) more than made up for that. We plan to stay here again!

For the price this is a very good Hotel. You can tell it is older and worn, but the beds are comfortable the rooms were clean but needed updating. Carpeting was frayed but clean. The breakfast was good. Everything you really needed. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and courteous.

A night away

The hotel is clean. Though outdated, the pool is nice. With my health issues we typically pick places with jacuzzi/hot tub, and was very disappointed to find it not working. The rooms are small. The mattresses need to be updated and replaced. They are old and uncomfortable. The carpet is old and dated as well and allergies flared in the hotel. The toilet in the room was very low to the floor! There is no elevator, be sure to reserve a handicapped room if stairs are challenging. Breakfast is a continental breakfast, and the food was just fine. The staff is friendly and welcoming as well. The pool towels are at the main desk, I suggest bringing your own. Good affordable place to stay, but not top of the line comforts either.OH and WiFi is as expected in Northern Michigan.

Staff was great but the pool area was moldy everywhere and pool wasn't working and either were jets in hot tub the room walls had paint peeling and cracking but overall it was good
