Good value

This was everything a hotel should be: clean, light and airy rooms (that come with a blackout shade), nice pool, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. The lobby is very inviting, as there are many cool places to sit, as well as board games.

Bad for sports teams and families with children. Management and staff are completely out of touch.

If you’re traveling with a youth team or group, think very carefully before booking this hotel.
We were presented with a so-called “behavioral expectations agreement” that was shockingly poorly written, internally inconsistent, and aggressively punitive. The document contradicts itself repeatedly (different age rules in different sections), imposes unrealistic supervision requirements (an adult in each guest room at all times), and gives the hotel unchecked authority to fine, evict, and retain deposits for vague “intangible damages” they don’t define.
The tone of the agreement is adversarial and threatening, not professional. Entire groups can be evicted with no refund for a single alleged infraction, penalties can be changed unilaterally by management, and the language leans heavily on vague references to “state law” without citing anything specific. It reads less like a safety policy and more like a liability trap designed to shift all risk onto group leaders.
To make matters worse, the hotel requires a single “group director” to sign without clearly limiting personal liability, which is an unacceptable position to put a guest in. This is not standard practice and should raise immediate red flags for anyone responsible for kids, teams, or families. The staff however, is convinced this is all common practice and normal behavior. I found that funny because, people that work at the hotel can't possibly stay at other hotels as frequently as the guests do. Therefore, they lack any context on what/how these protocols work in other hotels and locations.
Rules are one thing. Poorly drafted contracts that threaten eviction, fees, and forfeiture of payments are another. Rude front desk workers who are begging for confrontation and managers who lack empathy and common sense rule the day here. If you’re a family or youth organization looking for a cooperative, professional lodging partner, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very family friendly place which made for a bit more noise than desired. Especially on travel sports weekends. Otherwise... great place to stay.

It is a very nice place, but keep in mind with the baseball/softball teams staying there it gets pretty busy. The kids take over the pool and lobby. It wasn’t an issue for us but I could see how it might bother some guests. Every thing was very clean and well taken care of.
