Perfect location
My room was perfect it felt so homey the location was perfect it was a short walk to the boardwalk the staff were so nice easy check in and out the pool was right out my room the kids loved it I love it my husband loved it we will definitely be back soon

Not my best stay there
Stayed in a room. On first floor people above us were loud dropping things and walking heavy , we brought food to cook on the grill but didn't use them grease and food build up on them , didn't have a microwave in room. It advertised in big a sign the pool was heated it was not . I have to say they do keep the grounds clean however House keeping just opened our door after we stated we were still sleeping to come back. After coming here for years I have to say for the amount of money it coast I will be looking eleswere in the future . People in the office were friendly .

It’s a very nice place and convenient for walking to the beach and restaurants…I was just never at a hotel or motel that charged for ice…

Good location, friendly staff. Good value.
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Nice pool. Been going to this property for close to 30 years. Brought the children and now the grandchildren. Still delivering good value and service.

NIGHTMARE FAMILY VACATION
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING. We are writing this review hoping that the local media in Hampton Beach will also read this. This is not just a review but a horrible story about the worst experience we ever had. We have visited the Marguerite Motel in the past, last time having some bad experiences, but the manager Katherine seemed apologetic last time so we decided to book this year. We booked from July 1st to July 9th. We drove from Canada , with four children under 10. We were so exited to begin our summer vacation and celebrate 4th of July in Hampton Beach. After a long 7 hour drive, we checked in . I had just finished unpacking the car , walking up and down 3 flights of stairs when the owner intercepted me in the parking. “ I’m surprised you’re here after the 1 star review you left me last year. You being here is like spitting in my face” she said. She continued “ I’m going to make sure you never come back here again.” She then proceeds to tell me to pack my stuff and get out. She says this knowing I came from Canada and had no where to go. You should have seen my children’s faces when they realized this person was kicking us out , leaving us stranded. She knew we were coming, let us drive all the way there, let us check in, waited until I fully unpack my car to pop up in the parking lot and start harassing me. I didn’t even remember that we had a bad experience the year before so I began to apologize and ask to let us enjoy our vacation. She didn’t stop there , she called the police. My children were standing against the wall in fear when they say 2 cop vehicles pull up and knock on our door. He told us he had no choice but to kick us out because the owner insisted . She made my wife cry in front of our children. We were in distress, stranded, even the officers pleaded with her to let us stay. The officers said we had to leave and said sorry he couldn’t convince her.She said that leaving her a review , was unforgivable and that she did not care if we come back or not. “I’m going to make sure you never come back here” she kept repeating . I waited till the police left went for diner and went back to the lobby one last time to plea with her . She said she didn’t have kids and didn’t care what we were going through . She was so happy to throw a family out in the street ( including my 8 month old baby) she is not the manager but the owner of the place. I had no choice I had to book 4 different hotels on 9 days because not one was available for our whole stay. She had us terrified and my kids traumatized. She should not be allowed to operate in Hampton Beach. She should not have any guests visiting her motel. We waited to get back home to write this review from fear of this person finding us at our other locations. This person traumatized my kids made my wife cry . This is not a normal review, I hope many many people read what we went through. I have left out many horrible details of the way she spoke to us, the way she treated a family . There was no logic in her decision but pure hate. We will continue to come to Hampton Beach every year from Canada, but we will never forget Katherine and what she did to our family. I hope the local news and media contact me to get more information because we went through a nightmare.
