Room was clean. Had a microwave, tea kettle, dishes and silverware and had an awesome view from the balcony. Room 2015. Couldn’t have been happier. This is an Ala Moana by LSI, a
Privately owned unit. No housekeeping but we didn’t need it anyway. We brought a couple trash bags and there was plenty of towels available. Ala Moana shopping mall 5 min walking distance and had so many places to eat. So So So Happy with everything. Mahalo 🌺🌴❤️🌺🌴❤️

Never lnew until i checked in i was staying at rbnb. I was given one bath towel for 5 day stay. The room was nevet vleaned during the stay. The garbage was ovetflowing. I was really disapponted. I tried to csll the phone no twice botg timers i didnt get anywhere. I wanted to report water leakage from frig. Never again i will fo this. I wss a long time user of hotel

Don’t call us, we won’t call you.
Lsi Ala Moana Resorts is not what it appears to be. About 80% of the rooms are individually owned and not managed by the hotel, which means good luck getting any basic service. Need extra soap, towels, a pillow? Don’t count on it. I called the LSI number to request a few simple things and got zero response.
The room we got looked nothing like the pictures online. It was missing basic amenities like an iron and a safe box. The bathroom had peeling w paneling and mineral buildup on the showerhead—just overall poor maintenance.
To top it off, the front desk staff treated us like second-class guests. If you’re looking for a subpar room with unhelpful, unfriendly service, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I’d look elsewhere.

Proceed with caution
This was our first time on the island of Oahu and I first off will say it will not be the last..we loved it.
As other reviews have mentioned, the ad is very deceiving. You think you are booking with Mantra but surprise..it's LSI. At check in, they would not let us in the room until 3:00 AND, they had us booked for 2 nights when clearly we booked for 6. The front desk staff gave us a number to call, said they could not help. That got fixed. Got to the room, there was a blood smear on the bathroom door, shower curtain was very mouldy, 1 wine glass, 1 coffee cup....no cutlery and only 2 rolls of toilet paper. l will say it was wonderful being so close to the Ala Moana Mall for shopping.
The toilet roll holder was broken, no keenex plus to top it all off the smoke alarm beeped to the point where WE had to go buy a battery (to the tune of $12) as the staff were not permitted to help.
We did call and text with a member of the LSI "team" with a lot of back and forth with all our complaints.
We were reimbursed...$50.00 for our troubles.
Will be more vigilant when booking next time :(

I stayed at Ala Moana Hotel by LSI Resorts and my main issue was the pricing transparency when booking through Expedia. The listing advertised the room at about $79 per night, which sounded like a great deal for Honolulu. However, after completing the reservation, the total ended up being $779 for four nights, even though the room itself should have been around $316 at the advertised rate.
The listing also mentioned a $100 per night deposit, which made it seem like the higher total included a refundable deposit. I even contacted the hotel operator beforehand and was told that deposit policy actually applies only to their Las Vegas property. When I contacted Expedia support, the representative reassured me that the deposit would be refunded after checkout.
After booking, I later learned that the deposit is actually paid at the property, meaning the large total on Expedia was mostly made up of taxes and service fees rather than the deposit described in the listing. This created a lot of confusion and made the pricing feel misleading.
To be fair, the location of the hotel is very good, especially if you want to be near Ala Moana Center and not directly in the busiest part of Waikiki. The room itself was simple but acceptable for a short stay.
Overall, my experience would have been much better if the pricing and deposit information were clearly explained upfront. Travelers should pay close attention to the total price and fees before booking.
