Royal Kuhio is the better places for locals who live away from Hawaii. We love it because it’s nice and accommodating. Price could be lowered, and when it’s too much for us we have no choice but to go with a lower priced property.

Roaches. Broken Elevators.

Absolutely terrible. This place always has a power outage and is roach infested. The washing machine area STILL USES COINS IN 2026 and has multiple broken machines. The elevator has been broken multiple times as well. The building manager lady is so lazy I have no idea how she has a job.

Rooms where clean upon arrival. Plenty of towels and toiletries for our one week stay. Room we had had all the cooking supplies we needed ie pan, pots, toaster ect which saved us big time on food. Local target and ABC stores nearby. Check in was easy, just went up to the security to get our key after hours then the following morning when the main office was open we exchanged our keys. Parking was at the very top but the fact this place had free parking included was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

Good Location, Small accomodations

This was an "exchange" through our time share, and although we didn't pay alot to stay, we are glad we didn't. The elevators had blue tarps in them, our Condo was tiny for four adults and the parking ramp was being worked on while we were there. The "Resort" is in downtown Honlulu within walking distance to Waikiki Beach and the strip of exclusive stores. We could walk just about everywhere we went, although we rented a car, we didn't need to. Oahu as a very good public transit system that goes all over the island, so a car rental isn't necessary.

Parking was easy and secure location was very central. Everything is within walking distance perfect location for families and couples. Definitely would recommend going there again in the future. Have stayed here multiple times.
