Being a Motel 6, I kept my expectations as such. By far one of the nicer Motel 6's I've been too. The common areas and rooms were clean. We stayed 2 nights, beds were comfortable & pillows were fluffy (not flat over used). The 12PM check-out was a nice surprise as well as the hot tub. The pool / hit tub area was clean, plenty of chairs, however it is a smaller pool that most hotels, but it was nice to have both. The staff were all friendly and helpful. No weird smells or odors (sometimes with pets/older properties there can be weird smells). Overall nice place, convenient location, we would stay again when in the area

Worked for the few nights we were there. All staff were friendly and helpful. Paying to have a fridge was a put off.

Room and overall hotel was clean no issues. Near shopping area and restraunts and convenient stores open all night.
Some of staff seem overwhelmed or frustrated at amount of kids traveling with kids. Came to town for two day basketball tournament , down time was relaxing by pool area like many other families. Older front desk lady upset at kids playong in pool being too loud. Even followed me outside when I left with son for dinner accusing me of leaving my child in pool area and I needed to get him. After explaining to her I had no other child here but son standing next to me, she proceeded to ask who their parents were. I told her I had no clue what kid she was even talking about nor did I know anyone in the pool. My son was simply playing with them. She just walked away angry and mumbling. No apologies.

This hotel was the ideal place to stay at whenever you're planning to visit Cedar Point (only seven miles away). There are two restaurants next door to the hotel, and plenty more with a Shell Station across Highway 2. The hotel has indoor pool and hot tub and a small laundry room. The only gripe I have is that this hotel is near a railroad crossing and it seemed that trains keep passing at that crossing every hour, even in the early mornings. Still, the room was clean and comfortable.

Great little place to stay thats not super expensive to hit all the fun places around Sandusky
