Beautiful Property!
We are Hilton Grand owners and wanted to do a test drive down at the Outer Banks since we’ve never been there before. We used our points and it was a great deal. This was a Diamond Resort that was taken over by Hilton and is still in the remodeling stages. You wouldn't know that from what we saw. We went down for a half marathon for 3 days. We loved it! The property was beautiful and clean along with our 3 bedroom villa. The only exception was a loose table which was taken care of within a day. Service was great. I love that we can text any issues. We headed to the beach for a quick visit the first day while we waited to check in since it was a bit chilly and the water was ice cold! They apparently have designated parking near the beach that we didn’t know about. Will have to check it out next time. The next day was rainy and cold for the marathon so we took advantage of the indoor pool which was amazing. My son and his family enjoyed it immensely. As for the noice level, the only thing I noticed was a pressure washer that ran for quite some time. I believe they were cleaning the outdoor pool. It wasn’t that bad since we stayed indoors. I would highly recommend staying here. We plan on going for a week during the warmer months next year. Just a heads up there are lots of stairs! There are 2 floors. We didn’t realize it until we got there but it wasn’t an issue. If you have issues with climbing I would request a first floor villa.

Outer Banks Anniversary Week.
We selected the Beachwoods Resort to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. A quiet, shady location secluded from the hum of the road. The unit we had was great. All units have stairs. We requested a lower unit with just 7 stairs. It did make it easier for us. Our unit was a one bedroom, with two full baths. The unit was clean and comfortable. The units are older but well cared for. The grounds and outdoor amenities were easily accessible. Indoor water park with two slides. A daily resort fee of $30.00 per unit per day, gives access to all the planned events, parking and waterpark. They also have their own wooded hiking trails on property.
The staff here are great. Matt at guest check in was very helpful. We had a refrigerator/freezer that decided it didn't want to work properly. One text to Lucy or Jamie had the maintenance team at our door and working a plan to replace our fridge. Sean, the maintenance manager for the facility, allowed us to place perishables in the lock-off unit behind ours until Sean and his helper installed a new refrigerator that afternoon.
The quiet atmosphere was welcomed. We explored the area taking in lighthouses and many hiking trails. We dined at four restaurants, and all were very good. We ate at Plaza Azteca for Mexican - it was great. I had Mexican Chicken soup - delish! Hazel, my wife, had shrimp tacos and they were very delectable. Our first night we went to Steamers in South Shore. It was wonderful - fresh fish and seafood. We took a trip to Red Heads Restaurant in Grandy North Carolina for brunch after visiting Corolla Wild Horse Fund Farm to learn about the Corolla wild horses. The food and service were excellent. We will back for lunch or dinner on our next visit.
Last food stop was Geroge's Seafood Buffet in Kill Devil Hills. It was a nice way to conquer your seafood yearnings. Crab legs, shrimp, beef, fish, clams and much more. One full island of deserts to ensure a full stomach!

Amazing place…you would not expect to drive around a Walmart and find such a beautiful resort that feels like you’re miles away from everything. The included amenities were a huge bonus. We absolutely lived to Olympic sized pool, and had fun strolling around the lake in their paddle boats, playing ping pong, as well as throwing some bags at the corn hole tables. The private beach parking lot was wonderful also, and the staff were all very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. We will definitely be back.

Well maintained property with great amenities and helpful staff. Located behind a shopping center with two grocery stores. Another shopping center across the street, with a 3rd grocery store. Each shopping center has a coffee shop. I stayed just after Labor Day, so during off-season. Hopefully it would be the same experience during the height off the summer.

Lights in bathroom stoped working. Maintenance arrived quickly, but couldn’t solve issue.
Overall property was very nice. Enjoyed our stay! Indoor pool could use paint and upkeep.
