I loved my stay! The owner is so friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. He greeted me when I arrived and showed me to my room. The place was a cute, quaint boutique hotel / bed and breakfast only 15 minutes away from downtown Mystic. The breakfasts were all homemade and delicious. I will absolutely be staying here again when I’m in town.

Even better than we imagined

Absolute gem! Rooms are immaculate with exceptional decor - every detail has been carefully curated, from the oversized bath to the upscale linens to the elegant robes. Breakfast was wonderful…grounds gracious. And our innkeeper, Jim, is the consummate host. We can’t wait to return.

A pleasant stay from beginning to end

A pleasant stay from beginning to end. We were greeted by Jim the owner (who was gardening at the time) and shown to our room which was simply perfect for our needs. Tea, coffee and snacks easily available and just help yourself. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom enormous. Everywhere was spotless and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.

The best place for our wedding weekend stay!

The Stonecroft Inn was the perfect place for us and our wedding party to stay during our wedding weekend. We had actually made a reservation for the inn before Jim took ownership, and he was great to work with and maintained our booking/price from the previous owners. The inn looks amazing, and there are so many little details that made our stay beautiful and comfortable! The breakfasts at the inn were delicious and the staff were amazing (thank you Elena - sorry if I’m spelling that wrong!), and they were happy to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. Jim’s passion and drive to maintain and elevate the inn without losing its inherent character was really inspiring. You can tell he really loves this place, and he loves what he is doing! We really couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. We are excited to come back in the future, even though we have the option of staying with family nearby!

Wonderful visit!

My husband and I had a very warm welcome from the owner & innkeeper, Jim. We have stayed there various times in the 20 years. It is our to go place when we visit Mystic. We stayed in The Yellow Barn, Sarah Suite. We absolutely love this suite. The bed was comfy, the bathroom is wonderful and the view from the small balcony is great. The breakfast each morning was delicious along with unlimited coffee, juice, etc
