Super close to the ocean, they weren't kidding when they say partial view lol. Kinda a pain to get to at first with traffic and one way roads but perfect distance that we walked sometimes and rode the bus or drove other times.

Mold, dirty, poor management
There’s mold at this hotel. Upon check in our room (102) smelled so bad of bleach we couldn’t stand it. We asked for another room. They said they don’t do room changes, just air it out. Since the heavy bleach smell was a red flag, we looked around the room at the cleanliness- it was very dirty and we found mold in the bathroom, under the bed, and under the AC. We let the front desk know and the manager (David H) told the staff on duty to relay to us that they don’t do room changes and there were no rooms available (which wasn’t true because I could hop online and see there were rooms that could be booked). So we had no choice to leave the hotel for safety reasons (this was fairly immediate after seeing the room). We requested a refund and the manager refused. The next day my husband walked down and talked to David the manager and showed him the spots in the room. David said it looked acceptable to him and he would only refund us for one of the nights. Poor service, unprofessional, dirty, moldy, beware. Trust us- do NOT stay here.

We booked the room at the last minute for a weekend away. The staff was very kind, but checked us in before the room was ready. We waited and then were told it was ready, but the bathroom was not cleaned or ready for guests. We informed the hotel, and they brought up new towels.

Our stay at Cannery Row Inn was disappointing overall. While the location is excellent and puts you within easy walking distance of Cannery Row’s attractions, the hotel itself is old, worn, and in need of significant updates. The room didn’t feel especially clean, and the overall condition of the property made it difficult to feel comfortable.
There were a few positives. The virtual check-in kiosk was a modern touch that worked well, and both check-in and check-out were incredibly quick and easy. If convenience and location are your top priorities, those are definite advantages.
Unfortunately, the condition and cleanliness of the hotel outweighed those positives for us. We wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Check in was a keyosk not a big fan of AI.
During the day I saw people working in the front office.
Hotel was old and worn.
I was disappointed in the room. Carpet was indoor outdoor, dirty and ripped in places.
Outside patio was not inviting.
But I must say the location was great.
