Beautiful Property with spectacular views!!

What an amazing, restful experience!!! From the super fast, easy check-in, Mike and his wife had us in our room in no-time. Room was very beautiful with everything you can desire. Even Hot Chocolate in your room!!!! Towels and linens were cuddly soft. Bed was the most comfyiest I've stayed in since I can't even remember. The owners were so nice here. I highly recommend staying here. Beautiful views from EVERY WINDOW on property! Parking was free and very close and convenient to our room. Can't wait to come back

Anywhere but here

Felt like I was in a sundown town. The hatred towards minorities is palpable. Especially the daughter Meghan. I’ve never felt so unwelcome before.

Burned to the ground

Unfortunately, this Inn and Tavern burned to the ground about a month ago. Fire companies from many surrounding towns responded, but due to the rather remote location couldn't do much other than control the fire from spreading to anything else. Sad end to an historic building.

Meh

This place reminded me of Schitt's Creek. Even down to the clerk who helped us. She was great, but it was a weird situation where you had to call the owner if you needed anything and he would text the clerk/housekeeper. The check in info was in an envelope taped to the front door. We asked for ice and the poor gal had to bring us some while toting her baby! They are seriously understaffed and it shows. Rooms were meh, beds were not great, and tbh I was a bit afraid of the carpet.

Excellent Food & Service

In addition to the Burnin' Barrell, this was another great local find in Ansonia/Wellsboro. The shrimp alfredo was out of this world delicious and the cheesesteaks were good as well. There was no wait to get in on a Saturday night, which was unbelievable after we tasted how good the food was. The waitress was great and short wait for food. Would definitely recommend.
