Great experience as always!

Always a good experience… I’ve been going for 28 years. Have never had a bad time there. Only downside are the meals. They do serve a breakfast buffet, but each morning the eggs, and either the pancakes or the French toast were cold. The meals pre-Covid were always excellent. Since Covid, not so much.

Beautiful spot, but.....

We love the history of the place and the grounds are lovely. We are not golfers,but enjoyed bocce, corn hole and the walking trails. The rooms are in need of some sprucing up. The furniture was a bit beat up, one lamp had a broken bulb and there was dog hair in the bathroom. The room had an unpleasant odor...could be musty mixed with dog. It seems logical that there should be rooms for dogs and other rooms that are dog free. We were told that all rooms are dog friendly. I don't want dog hair in my hotel room or dog smell. The windows can't be opened so we were stuck with the smell. It is a gem of a place with so much history and potential, but it needs upgrades.

Awesome trip, INCREDIBLE people, great resort!

What a hidden gem! The property is huge! And absolutely stunning views! They have a bottling museum, mini golf, disc golf, restaurants, and an incredible golf course on site. The breakfast buffet had the sweetest teenagers (or young people) working it. Everyone really seemed to enjoy working there which speaks volumes to me. Every single person we interacted with was so kind and really seemed to care about us and our experience! They have a small game room and kids play area and a massive library. The halls are like a labyrinth in the best way, the kids had a blast trying to “find” the secret rooms (everything was well laid out and we had a map) our room was HUGE and clean. It’s super convenient to Maine wildlife center, auburn, and Lewiston as well. 10/10 a great experience! Really can’t say enough good things about the people.

Thank you for the compliment regarding our staff, for many of the dining staff it is their first job, and often they stay with us throughout high school and college, and some even beyond that! We are so proud of each of them. If you are ever looking for specific events on the property to plan your trip around - our 4th of July Fireworks Celebration is a great event, as well as the Poland Heritage Day held in September each year.
