Definitely recommend

This place is our #1 favorite in Rehobath Beach. My boyfriend and I won’t go anywhere else. It’s not fussy, the owner is accommodating, the rooms are comfortable, there’s parking on site, and it’s right next to the beach. This is our happy place. If you’re looking for affordable lodging for the weekend in a cute neighborhood and you’re not planning to spend your whole beach trip in a hotel room, stay at Summer Place.

Summer place Hell

I rarely leave reviews, but I genuinely felt unsafe staying here. There were random men wandering around the property at all hours, and the environment was unsettling.
The room was filthy. The bathroom had mold everywhere, the AC unit was broken, and there were bugs in the bed. Even after taking a shower, I somehow felt dirtier than before.
Things got so bad that we literally checked out early and booked another hotel without even caring about the price. Losing money was worth it to get out of there and feel safe and clean again.
Yes, it’s close to the beach, but that convenience is absolutely not worth risking your health, safety, or peace of mind. I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible!

This hotel should be condemned. It is disgusting. I've never seen a hotel room so filthy. The room has inches of dust, dirt and years of filth. We used an entire bottle of disinfectant spray and Clorox wipes and our own sheets and towels, just so we could make it through the night until we could find another hotels hotel. We were supposed to stay 2 nights. It was so dirty and unsafe, we had to leave a night early with no refund, and move to another hotel. Other guests were doing the same. I can't believe Expedia.com even offers this gross hotel on their website. Not only is it filthy, it is very unsafe. They also have you pay $25/night to squeeze in a parking spot under their "hotel."

I booked for 2 nights and barely got through one. I expected the bare minimum and it being run down. What I didn’t expect was the complete filth in the room. It literally looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in 20 years. Hair, grime and dust all over the floor. I was very uncomfortable and left early. I’m thankful I didn’t get bed bugs. So there’s that.

Stay away!! Don't waste your money.

Stay away! Don't waste your money. Dirty place. Room had no key lock, just a push buy lock. Beds where dirty and THERE WERE BUGS IN ROOM.! It's a filthy smelly place that uses false advertisement. Left after first night. Had to go to another hotel. Wouldn't refund money. Where unapologetic!
