This stay was a positive experience. Overall, you get what you pay for.
The pros:
Price, location, outside sitting area, luggage storage, iron and blow dryer, A/C, fridge and microwave, nice neighborhood
The cons:
The room stayed damp, no switching towels over a 4 day period - so they never dried, the neighbors weren’t as quiet as they could have been, lots of concrete around so dogs and humans urinate outside and it doesn’t get washed away
If it wasn’t for the musky feel, we would stay again the next time we are in San Diego. Because of that, we might consider waiting until the cooler months, so the window A/C unit would be enough.

staff was kind and helpful. we were in room 10 ... definately reommend black out curtains as there were out door lights that seeped into the room. Cute ... bed OK, and if we didn't use the portable AC, you can hear the street traffic. With that said, great location. Lots of hills, however great spots walking distance and get there early for parking.

Cool room in a great location. Make sure you get the check in information before coming in. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was ok bed kept falling off wooden rails shower very tiny glad i am not s large person parking was ridiculous parking patrol didnt mess around sorry cant recommend this hotel

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The area was less than desirable and parking was horrendous.
