Amazing Views!

It was a fairly warm September when we visited, and as the other reviewer said, no AC. ( Although that was clearly stated in the AirBnB info) Plenty of fans in the unit, and the breeze off the water helped, but it did get quite warm, once the afternoon sun started to shine in the. We were on a high floor, the views were absolutely amazing. We traveled for a concert at Lumen field, easily within walking distance. Pikes market was a few blocks away, with lots to see and do right on the waterfront. Target was also within walking distance for all your shopping needs. The complex has 4 great places to eat, and all the people we ran into were so friendly. The lounge on the top floor is a great place to hang out as well. The unit was spacious & well equipped. I probably wouldn't recommend staying in the summer months, but other than that, it was the perfect place to stay for our long weekend

Check the weather

We understand that it isn’t always 80 degrees in Seattle, so when we were coming from New Orleans and read that the apartment did not have AC, we emailed asking if there were portable ACs or options to make it cooler. They responded stating that it would be fine, and they had two fans that wood cool it down. We arrived around 11pm with our two children and it was above 90 degrees in the unit. There was one regular sized fan and another table top that barely worked. We did not sleep much that night. The next morning we emailed again stating that it was not only uncomfortable but that we could not safely stay there. Temperatures were going to remain in the 80s for the next two days, the unit faced the harbor (beautiful view by the way) where it baked in the sun all day. If the evening was this bad, we knew the afternoons would be intolerable. We, unfortunately, had to book an air conditioned hotel room down the street. Management didn’t seem very sympathetic, no discounts or refunds even on days we couldn’t stay. We posted a review that was taken down. Please keep this one up and allow others who may be traveling during these newly hot summers to know what they are getting into. We wish we were given the same courtesy.
