Everything is easy at this property. Wether it’s going out to eat or the beach the staff exceptional and knowledgable.

Beautiful hotel, but not five-star service
At nearly $800 per night, we expected a true five-star experience. Unfortunately, while the hotel is beautiful and the grounds and overall appearance are certainly five-star, the actual service and amenities fell far short of that standard.
Our room looked nice at first glance, but when you looked closer, the quality simply wasn’t there. The sheets were subpar, and many of the products provided in the room—including the paper goods and bathroom soaps—felt inexpensive and inconsistent with what you would expect from a hotel charging $800 a night.
We were also surprised to learn that housekeeping must be specifically requested before 10:00 a.m. if you want your room serviced that day. For a hotel charging this rate, having to request basic daily housekeeping by a specific morning deadline feels far from a five-star standard.
Our first night, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the experience was extremely disappointing. All three of our meals had to be sent back. The pizza was burnt, and the chicken was overcooked and grisly. It was obvious that the restaurant was understaffed, and I genuinely felt bad for the employees who were left to deal with a mountain of customer complaints. They were doing their best in a situation that clearly needed more staffing and better management.
The pool was another disappointment. It was extremely crowded and did not appear to be adequately clean or maintained.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that the hotel looks like a five-star property. The architecture, grounds, and overall presentation create the expectation of luxury. But once you look beneath the surface, the experience does not match the price or the image the hotel presents.
For nearly $800 a night, we expected high-quality linens, premium amenities, excellent food, attentive service, daily housekeeping, and a well-maintained pool. Instead, we felt like we were duped into paying a five-star price for something that, in the areas that matter most, simply wasn’t a five-star experience.
Beautiful surroundings can only go so far. At this price point, the service, quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail need to match the appearance.

Beware of Murky Pool Water
While my family enjoyed many aspects of our stay, we were disappointed by the condition of the pool. Pool area was clean, but water was murky. This raised concerns about cleanliness and we did not feel comfortable to enjoy the pool amenities. The pool was one of the main reasons that we stayed at Hotel LBI. The murkiness was likely from heavy use and poor filtration. This was on a weekday of a busy vacation week. We would expect daily maintenance, especially with so many guests anticipated to use the pool. We hope that the hotel can improve the pool maintenance for future guests as this aspect detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

This hotel is fantastic! The rooms and property was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions!

Our favorite part of the stay was the friendly shuttle driver-Dereck who was pleasant and funny. Beach access is through shuttle with free towels, chairs and boogie boards.
We paid for a premium room. Unfortunately it didn’t have a view. No balcony or ocean view as Hotels.com advertised. Coffee machine didn’t work, ice machine wasn’t working the first day.
Valet was helpful and hard working.
Might come again but for the price there are other options without the rigidity of the front desk.
