Excellent!!
Hello, I was a guest at Canopy from 6-3-26 through 8-12-26. This is where the company I work for, stays. OMG, the facility is beautiful but what was most outstanding is the people!! All of them with the exception of one person know exactly what the service industry is all about. Blake, was exceptional. I was getting used to the afternoon check in time and he did everything to expedite the clean and he even kept my groceries cold while I waited!!! Very professional and amazing. Felix/Alex, sorry was also exceptional and he was showed empathy while I stated my horrible pet allergies and found a room that was perfect. He was always so nice and professional perfect for this industry. Andrea, I cannot say enough good things about her. She went out of her way to get me the same room, since I stayed there every week and she was successful and willing to book this for me if open. Great personality too! In the restaurant Armando was amazing. Also Julie and faith in the morning for breakfast-amazing and fun personalities I always loved chatting with them and they were soooo fast and knew exactly what I wanted every time. Then there is Edgar. He was so welcoming when I came in from work and so profession and amazing and all the guys out there with concierge were so nice to talk to. The guy who wore the disco ball earrings was so fun to talk to and the chefs!!! Claudia, the big muscle guy and my favorite and this is where I am so upset, I did not write here name down, but she made best breakfast and was so creative with salmon and shrimp!!!! so talented. Anyway, thanks those of you who was understanding with my allergies and went out of your way to accommodate this. What a wonderful place to stay!!!

Not impressed
This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, BUT room was too warm (could not turn the thermostat below 67f) for sleeping. Cold showers. Lousy bed, too soft and I kept stubbing my toes on the platform. There was a flat sheet on the bottom so it kept coming untucked! Get some fitted sheets for Pete’s sake! They short sheeted the bed everyday so I had to remake the bed every night! There were no luggage stands in the room. Why don’t hotels under stand that if two people occupy a room, they probably have two suitcases!
Towels were nice. Shower was nice except the cold water! I expected a lot more from a 4 star hotel.

Outstanding valet service from Hamza and Andrew!
We had a wonderful stay at the Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown, and the service really stood out. A big shout-out to the valet team, especially Hamza and Andrew, who went above and beyond every time we arrived and departed. They were friendly, quick, and genuinely welcoming, always greeting us with a smile and taking great care of our vehicle. Their professionalism and attentiveness made a real difference and set the tone for a fantastic stay. Thank you, Hamza and Andrew, for the outstanding hospitality!

A Room That Clearly Wasn’t Ready for Guests
This wasn’t the experience I expected.
* The light by the bed was broken, which could be a potential safety or fire hazard.
* The coffee maker didn’t work because it was unplugged underneath the cabinet.
* The refrigerator wasn’t cooling at all, so everything I put in it overnight had to be thrown away.
* The room was dusty, and I was thankful I packed my own Clorox wipes.
What concerns me most is that these are issues housekeeping or maintenance should have noticed before the room was assigned. If the room had been properly inspected, the broken light, non-working refrigerator, and coffee maker should have been caught.
I understand that mistakes happen, but basic cleanliness, working amenities, and guest safety should never be overlooked. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests have a much better experience.

All staff were very welcoming and warm . Even being a brown skin girly I was welcomed and didn't feel like an OutKast and that means the world to me ! Thank you !!!
