It’s ok, one of the better choices in town that’s not a casino
Walk outside and up the long stairway to the main street , there are a few restaurants and shops
Hotel lobby has a nice siting area and pool table
They don’t have a restaurant or morning lobby coffee.. Starbucks coffee is available in the room

Oh how mighty have fallen. Best hotel in town in 2023 and now this place is a total trash heap!

This place is STRUGGLING!! Internet was out, the TV was broken, the ice machine didn’t work, the shower leaked, the entrance is filthy, the pool was disgusting, and the staff was rude.

I recently stayed at the Mulberry with my family for a vacation in the Vicksburg area. I selected this hotel because the reviews sounded good and the location was perfect. This review is difficult to write because on one level, the hotel was good because the location was perfect and the aesthetics of the place are pleasing, but those pleasing views cover up some serious problems. When you walk into the hotel, you pass the billiard room before getting to the check-in desk. My children and I decided to play pool there our first night. However, there were about 3 balls or so missing from the pool table. Ironically, this became a metaphor for the entire stay. Things look nice, but they do not distract from the problems. We went swimming, but the pool was poorly maintained. Lots of dirt at the bottom of the pool. Our rooms were nice, but the a/c randomly would set itself to 50 degrees in the middle of the night freezing us. The staff were nice and helpful, but there were so few at any given time it felt like little was getting done.
As to the location, it is within walking distance to many nice restaurants in the downtown strip. That, I really appreciated.
Overall, my assessment is that this hotel was likely very nice in some distant past, but now it appears to be in decay but with inadequate maintenance. If I return to Vicksburg, I will likely stay somewhere else.

I feared my baby’s and my life due to negligence

I’m currently alone in my room with my baby, breast feeding, and a strange man walked into my room moments ago. I heard the keycard unlock the door, so I expected my baby’s father to appear, but instead I saw the shadow of a bigger man in a hat. I was in a vulnerable position and felt extremely scared. I texted my baby’s father to speak with the front desk when he gets back. Luckily, the person noticed the room wasn’t vacant and left, but being a woman, in that position, I feared the safety of my child and myself. I had noticed moments earlier, when checking my bank account online, that they’d also charged me twice for the room. I am asking for a full refund because I’m confident they assigned my room to another guest, who, thank goodness, did not take advantage of the situation. I do not feel confident in the staff here. The room is also very humid and the bedding feels damp. The cleanliness is subpar. The front desk is very sweet, but, I suppose, not great at their job.

Great staff!!!!! But we changes rooms 3–4 times
Due to mold and my toddler found a medicin tablett on the floor. But the staff was great!!!
The pool was nasty and the rooms was not good, breakfast should be included for that price.
