The Hotel Maria is in pristine condition. Everything is brand new. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. The lobby and pantry were also beautiful. There was a great selection if snacks, drinks, and breakfast foods. The staff was friendly and professional. I loved this hotel and hope to return.

great food great hotel … horrible insulting bartender
I believe the hotel is amazing… But unfortunately, we had dinner at the bar and a bartender named Paul was our server and he was extremely rude and insulting to us …. Completely ruined our dinner and we had to move our seats to the tall tops. I believe the place is great. I believe the food is great, but he was horribly rude.

An amazing boutique hotel that made our first trip to Westerly one of the best experiences of this summer! The accommodations were updated, clean and quite spacious. Above all else, every hotel staff member we met was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The vibe is laid back beachy AND there is a nook near the concierge that had free snacks, coffee, and drinks 24/7. What a find!!!! Get to the private beach early and stake you spot! Limited free umbrellas and beach chairs and beach towels available in the morning. We enjoyed our 3 night stay so much, we booked a return stay a few weeks later. Hotel Maria is probably the best find on Atlantic Avenue!

Avoid this hotel
For years I have booked multiple of the most expensive rooms at this hotel but that ends this year. Multiple times maid service is nonexistent. Even something simple like the candy bars and little rubber ducks are not left. The desk doesn’t answer their phone when you try to call from your room. Daily they run out of beach towels and have to be forced to get more beach chairs and umbrellas (which are in terrible shape) from storage. My sister this year was told they ran out of beach passes because people had not returned them! Are they kidding? You pay so much for a BEACH experience. Print more passes! The child staff gives a different story daily as to which beach area we can use. No one needs this aggravation on vacation. Not for the extremely high cost. They have no appreciation or loyalty for guests.
