Wonderful stay

We stayed one night in the shoulder season and it was wonderful. Clean and comfortable room with incredible views (the pic below is from the hotel), great dinner and breakfast, and charming staff. A bit far from town but that cuts both ways—it was blissfully quiet at the villa! You will not regret it.

We spent a relaxing weekend here — the rooms were comfortable and the location stunning, with a partial lake view, though the access road could use some maintenance.
Breakfast was a letdown: no Sri Lankan option was available, so we settled for the English breakfast, which turned out to be just bread, one egg, and a sausage. Dinner didn’t fare much better — vegetable fried rice and a mediocre chilli chicken for Rs. 3,800, well below what the price should deliver.
My advice: book the room only and skip the meal plans. There are far better dining options nearby for the price.

Horrible, avoid

Terrible food: we want to be European with low-end frozen products. Absolutely inedible, both for dinner (chicken? where does that one come from?) and for breakfast (pink-purple jam! what fruit?). Lots of noise when other guests sit in the lobby of your floor to chat, watch TV, connect on their cell phones. You are far from Newara Eliya, so stuck! In addition, they charge your driver's meal for half of his daily salary: a shame!

Hotel ?

Shabby, dirty, smelly establishment. No relaxation area, no Wi-Fi. The photos are not those of the hotel. Despite our reservation (misled by the images and comments) we went elsewhere. Such establishments are scandalous.

Unforgettable Experience

This place has breathtaking views of the lake and mountains which located approximately 7 Km away from the Nuwaraeliya town . From the hotel it was only around 30mins drive ( 12Km) to Ambewela Farm. The weather was super cold and we all enjoyed every moment stayed there . The food was a bit pricy for Sri Lankans so we found good options at the Nuwaraeliya Town .The staffs were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean but towels were old looking . There was hot water , tea and coffee making facilities in the room. This location is very ideal for wedding pre-shoots . The only issue was that the 500meter distanced graveled road to the hotel was not in a good condition.
