So hospitable

Amazing welcome - we stayed for one night only as the place was too basic for us! (We're getting on a bit).
The proprietor couldn't have been nicer - driving us around in his own tuk tuk.
Breakfast was fab - a huge bowl of fruit salad including grapes and tangerines as well as your normal SL fruit. Plus bread, croissants, 3 x curries and pancakes - far too much really!
Our room in the villa couldn't have been cleaner and the bathroom the same. There was no-one in the other room or we would have had to share a bathroom which I wouldn't have liked though.

The owner wants cadh payment and denied service even though the full payment had been made by the credit thriugh Expedia booking. This listing should be banned and removed by Expedia to protect customers from double payment scams!

Basic and Ok Place

We stayed here for the day. The room was ok. A/C worked. Its a short tuk ride from the town. Closer to the Kallady bridge. Did not eat. Generally ok. Owner was helpful and welcoming. The lagoon was a short walk away. Ok budget option.

Not the cleanest loo

Basic room, asked for a double but got a twin... used it as a day room while waiting to catch the bus back to Colombo. Beds and linen were clean, ac took a while to work but the bathroom wasnt great. And room was very small.

Kichen is not clean

we,three families visited the place and stayed one night. before we were informed that food is availble upon request but it was not. we were told owing to local new year,cooks have not returned.we were surprised to see such a untidy smelly kitchen.
rooms are average and worth with the price. the wash rooms/bath are large and clean. you will find the shower with hot water.
there is no rooms for driver. however mr anandaraja, the house keeper helped us to find a room for our driver in nearby motel.
all in all, it is an average experience.
