Spend time in a lush garden

I used it during my stay in Bentota to participate in a garden tour of Lunuganga. It is about a 10-minute walk from both the bus stop and the train station. Flowers bloom in the well-maintained garden, healing both the eyes and the heart. Jaya gives you information so you don't have to worry about staying. I went for a swim because I'm within walking distance to the sea. It was a lovely stay.

Nice Guesthouse in Bentota!

Our host Jaya was very welcoming and helpful. The booked room was as offered.
The good and easy communication in advance was also pleasant.
The Guesthouse is located about 5 minutes walk from the beach in Bentota in a very quiet residential area, which is extremely pleasant.
The guesthouse has a beautiful garden.
The rental car we could easily park in front of the front gate of the host.
Breakfast was good, including fresh fruit.
We can recommend the Guesthouse!

Good Night Sleep

Stayed one night. Place was clean and nice smelling towels. All facilities were as shown on the photos on booking site. AC was good however there were some small mosquitos (but there was a net). Food was good. Owner is freindly and helpful.

Hidden gem

We are so pleased to be staying here rather than a more expensive and commercial hotel.
Owned and run by a lovely gentleman who will go the extra mile for his guests; he gave us tuk-tuk rides to town, made us meals on request and even meant us clothing to wear for a wedding. We wouldn't have stayed anywhere else. I would much rather have stayed here than somewhere more commercial and corporate.
Our first floor room sat next to his grounds containing fauna including fruit trees which he is able to serve as party of breakfast. There are talkative birds and chipmunks which roam freely too and are nice to see and hear.
WiFi service didn't really work but we came here to escape, and by picking up a 16gb Dialog sim at the airport cheaply, it was irrelevant and phones were of low importance anyway.
The beach is 5 minute's walk away and the shops are 5 minutes by tuk-tuk too.
I would highly recommend and re-visit for an authentic and relaxing escape.

Lovely place!

Lovely guesthouse with so nice and helpful host. There’s only few rooms, we had our own very privat little ”cottage” with A/C, warm shower, and own garden. Everything is in the walking distance, I really fell in love with peaceful Bentota area. I will be back ❤️
