Sigiriya spa

The spa here is wonderful. Very calming place. Erandi did a full body massage, Soddartha (1st time for me) plus a face nave.
She was very good at her skills. Smooth strokes and good pressure.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The buffet was incredible. Our room was amazing and it really felt like we were in a jungle with a tree in the bathroom. Everyone genuinely wanted us to feel welcomed.

Great experience in Spa

Amazing atmosphere, spa sits in the middle of a banyan tree with monkeys in. Rajitha was very professional, friendly and inquisitive. Made us all feel welcome and we had a really nice experience - thank you,

Average at most

Average at most.We were a family of 4 and occupied 2 suite rooms. Courtesy was average if not less. Restaurant staff seemed untrained and on the day of arrival probably the restaurant supervisor took me to task as I could not remember a prefix on the room number and continued to admonish me in English and in the local language for not stating the room number with his expectations of accuracy. Meals were very crowded affairs and noisy, and the staff is often heard shouting instructions to each other in the local dialect. Very average spread of the menu and some requested items never turned up at the table even after 3 reminders, when we finally gave up and left. Rooms are tidy, the grounds were tidy but the guests feel "caged in" as the facility was on a mall area of land with crowded guest bungalows. in summary, poor staff courtesy and poor value for the money we spent on suite rooms.

Firstly, we thank you sincerely for staying with us at SigiriyaJungles.
Extremely sorry for any misunderstanding you had with our colleague in the restaurant. It is customary that the Food & Beverage department asks for the room number for accountability. He would have explained to you that there is a L30 (left side) and R30 (right side) to be precise and the misunderstanding would have been at this point.
On the day you arrived we were experiencing a full occupancy and the restaurant would also have been full.
Re: rooms, you had mentioned that it is crowded. We have 60 rooms spread over 10 acres of land which gives space to manage and offer his/her own space.
We kindly invite you once again to stay with us and we will upgrade you to a suite room with no additional cost to prove that it was only an incident and definitely not the tradition of our hospitality.
