More beautiful than in the pictures

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms, bathroom seemed like new. The hotel was nicer than in the pictures.
Nice and clean pool.
Good food at the restaurant.
The hotel can arrange the Safari to Yala park for good price. Very skilled driver.

We would recommend booking here.

Really nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good as plenty of choice. Very clean as staff are constantly cleaning everything which we have not seen any where else.

Not the best.

We stayed for one night to visit Yala national park safari.
We were in a room on the ground floor by reception and the restaurant. Our window looked out onto the staff sitting area so we couldn’t open the curtains. It also meant that we could hear constant chatter including at 5am. It was Valentine’s Day and unfortunately there was a party in the town which was extremely loud and went on until 2am. I tried to sleep with earplugs but they didn’t block the noise.
The water in our room was cold and maintenance were unable to fix it. We were offered another location to shower but we’d already had a cold shower.
We ate in the restaurant which was one of the most disappointing meals on our trip. I ordered a chicken curry which was a lump of chicken in a really watery curry sauce.
This was one of our more disappointing hotels on our tour of the island.

Unenjoyable stay because of building works

We had booked this hotel a few months ago and had contact with them by email along the way with queries about safaris. At no time did they tell us they had closed off bookings because there would be building works when we were there. We arrived to find we were the only guests and there was a lot of noise from the building work going on. The first room we were put in was extremely noisy and hot as the aircon wasn't working properly. We couldn't enjoy sitting by the pool due to the noise. After telling them we were sorry we were leaving they moved us to their best room at the back of the property. We told them we weren't happy and wanted a discount to stay. They reluctantly offered a miserly 10% discount. It seemed they couldn't understand after offering us the best room why we weren't satisfied. In the end we stayed as it was too difficult to find other accommodation at such short notice. Sunil was a very helpful gentleman and spoke very good English. The hotel and pool would've been lovely but not just not enjoyable for us because of the noise.
