Super recommended!!

The Best Accommodation we have stayed in Sri Lanka. We stayed 2 nights in the beautiful and spotless tree house and the hospitality we have found here was exceptional. The whole family has worked hard to make us feel good. They even organized the cake on my husband's birthday! Hearty and excellent breakfasts and dinners! Thank you so much for welcoming us with such warmth! You will remain in our hearts as your beautiful island

A beautiful surprise in the middle of the jungle

We stayed at this beautiful property while visiting Sri Lanka. We were a group of 10 people and booked 3 accommodations. The property is beautiful with a high standard for Sri Lanka, spotless and new. Despite being in the middle of the jungle there were not many insects or even mosquitoes. The tree rooms are delightful and equipped with every comfort. The value for money is great and the owners are lovely people who welcomed our every request. The son of the owners, a very nice guy, for two consecutive nights ordered for us and brought us dinner from a restaurant in the center, which we could enjoy in a beautiful communal table, set by the owners especially for us, in the countryside, where we also had a superb breakfast. Absolutely Recommendation to anyone visiting Ella and surroundings.

Lovely place, perhaps not ideal for younger children

Firstly I must say that the family who run Jungle Face Inn are kind and helpful and fantastic cooks. The place is unusual and we had monkeys playing in the trees outside and on our balcony which was incredible. Unfortunately with the age our children are (just 4 and nearly 2) and my mum (70s) it was just a bit too stressful as a location with the steps and the balconies and outside spaces. The two room villa has two rooms connected via an outdoor balcony which I hadn’t understood from the booking sites so we weren’t able to use one of the rooms. I also think it’s a little overpriced for the facilities and how far away it is from the main buzz of Ella and although I should have realised it through common sense I do wish it had been clear it was cash only payment as I booked through a third party booking site and assumed I could use a card. To be clear, most of these issues are my fault and not the lovely family who run a unique place - I can imagine having a really wonderful time here pre children or if my kids were a little bit older.

What a talented cook!

An original and friendly place, with a perfect welcome.
The place is a good distance from the town, which is particularly touristy.
You can come and eat there without sleeping (notify us in advance) and it is worth it, because the cook is absolutely remarkable - she prepared an exceptional vegetarian meal for us. THANKS !

Very attentive and very good hotel!

It is a very nice Hotel in the jungle, with all the natural surroundings highly recommended.
The family that runs it is very friendly and has a very funny dog that plays with everyone.
At all times, they were very attentive to us.
Highly recommended on a visit to Sri Lanka
