Incredible stay at Rainbow Sky Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at Rainbow Sky Cottage.
The room was beautiful and clean and had the most stunning view, especially exciting when the train passes by.
The owners could not be more lovely and accommodating. They will come pick you up from the drop off point as the drive is pretty steep so not easily accessible by car. They shared all the information prior to arrival so it was easy to do. We also used them a couple of times for pick up and drop offs into Ella town.
Otherwise you can get to Ella by walking about 15 minutes along the train track which was really fun (we even saw a monkey). It is initially down a steep hill but after that it’s flat.
We would highly recommend.

Lovingly managed hotel with a dreamlike view

Title: Lovingly managed hotel with a dreamlike view
We had a wonderful stay at this small, lovingly managed hotel. The entire team was incredibly warm and helpful, so we felt very welcome from the very beginning.
Our room was beautiful and had only recently been renovated. The absolute highlight was the fantastic balcony with a bathtub – perfect for cooling off after an excursion while enjoying the dreamlike view.
The breakfast was also very delicious and was prepared with a lot of love. We were always able to watch the monkeys while doing so.
The only small disadvantage is that the hotel is located somewhat remotely and the access road is not exactly easy. For us, however, that was not a problem. The owner personally drove us to Ella and also picked us up again upon request. Alternatively, you can also reach Ella easily and inexpensively by tuk-tuk.
The hosts also gave us many helpful tips for excursions in the area, which we really appreciated.
We really enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Dreamy sunrise

Nice hotel in Ella. Not far from the colorful hustle and bustle in Ella. Very quiet. You have a beautiful view and can see the sunrise. The property is lovingly designed. The family is very helpful. Breakfast is delicious, the coconut pancakes are a dream. The restaurant is now somewhat "small."

Ella stay in cottage

Stayed for two nights to see sites of Ella. Great views from room, with train just below us, heading through to nine arch bridge, several times a day. Good views through valley and across fields. Found rooms good, on a 3 star standard. Local breakfast provided, plus mini bar in room and fridge in main kitchen for any other drinks. Cottages are in a location outside of Ella up on the side of valley. Staff assist in getting you on-site and offsite as via a small hilly track. With steps to all rooms. Staff assisted without hesitation with bags and anything else we needed.
