Perfect start to our holiday

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our Sri Lanka trip as a family of 4 with 2 children age 10 and 8. The villa was perfect- just what we needed after a long flight. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well. We loved the novelty of having an outside shower and our children loved spending time in the pool. Had a delicious breakfast served on the terrace. Kumudu was an attentive host and we would recommend getting the short tuk tuk ride into Galle. Overall, we would highly recommend this place to stay.

Galle visit

We stayed at the start of July 26. Me and my family of 5 with a 22, 20 and 16year old for four nights. Fabulous location, lovely rooms and a nice quiet part of Galle. Only a few minutes by tuktuk into the fort and busy central town area. Our host, Kumudu, was great and arranged everything. Highly recommend for a stay in Galle

An oasis in Galle:

An oasis away from the busy City of Galle, although only less than 15 minutes to get to the Fort area. Kumudu will welcome you to his pride and joy. The renovations that he has carried out to date are superb and there are more to come. He is a delightful Owner and has a vision for what he wants to offer and is achieving that vision already, so it can only get better. If close up with monkeys is on your agenda, you must stay here !! The rooms are superb, lying around the pool is bliss, and you are surronded by trees which creates a real calming atmosphere. No restaurant as yet, but it is planned for later this year. I will definitely re-visit Ceylon Olive..............

This is an amazing property run by amazing and friendly staff. The rooms themselves are unusual and special in design, with an outside (but private) bathroom which is unlike anything else. The pool is nice and the area is surrounded by trees where monkeys jump around and entertain you, but we had no issues with them as they are the shy kind! Would definitely recommend and is great for visits to Galle and Dakata beach which is excellent for surfing.

Slice of jungle paradise in Galle

We had a lovely stay at the Ceylon Olive. It was close to Galle whilst still feeling like a little slice of jungle paradise. Our room was beautiful and the pool was lovely. My kids had a great time staying here. The owner and team member Era were also extremely kind and attentive.
