Mold Growth- health concern.
Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived.
Upon check-in, we were promptly escorted to our rooms. However, when we got there, all of the room doors were wide open, and the two staff members present appeared confused as to why we had arrived. We showed them our confirmed booking, and only then were we told they would “get the rooms ready.” We waited approximately 10 minutes while they attempted to prepare them.
Unfortunately, despite the staff doing their best, the rooms were simply not in a condition that I considered safe to stay in.
There were multiple insects throughout the rooms, including spiders and cockroaches. While a few insects can sometimes be expected depending on the location, finding cockroaches is another matter entirely. Aside from being unpleasant, there is also the concern of accidentally bringing them home in luggage.
The biggest issue, however, was the extensive fungal (mold) growth. As soon as we entered, the room had a strong damp, musty smell. Upon looking around, we found a large area of fungal growth on the wall adjacent to the bathroom. At that point, we immediately decided not to stay and checked into another hotel instead.
The staff were polite and tried to assist, but the condition of the accommodation itself was unacceptable.
Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering staying here to be extremely cautious. The visible fungal growth alone presents a potential health risk, and I did not feel comfortable spending even a single night in the room.

A hidden gem
We stayed here on our last and enjoyed our stay. Great place to meet with friends and family.
The perfect place to start or end your stay.
The food, the staff, the rooms and location setting are all fantastic.
A tranquil hidden little hide away from hustle and bustle.

Great airport stop off
The location is quite hard to find so make sure you have the address but it is an easy 15 minute drive to the airport. It is not like your usual airport hotel as it is situated in a quiet village in beautiful gardens which makes it very relaxing!
The resort itself is nice with a small Resto and a great clean swimming pool. The rooms are nice and simple. They are newly built so they feel very clean and comfortable.
We ate a Sri Lankan dinner here which was so delicious! The cooks are local women so they know how to do it properly. They offer B&B but we left early so missed this.
Really friendly and attentive staff who could not do enough for us.
Would definitely recommend for a 1 or 2 night airport stop off.
