Love this place!

Beautiful waterfront property. Very clean and spacious hotel. The view from the room was so serene. Staff was very welcoming and hospitable. We had a peaceful and comfortable stay. They even arranged outdoor activities for us. Definitely recommending this hotel.

Disappointing

This hotel service is really bad . They don’t no how to welcoming guest. Room & bathrooms are dirty. I don’t how they treat foreigners. As a local guest we had bad experience. Not recommend for anybody . I hope management will concentrate about their guest more than like this

Oga Reach Tissamaharama Value for money

Oga Reach Tissamaharama was a very comfortable hotel. Property is located near Yoda Lake and has a very spectacular view to enjoy a good holiday WITH SOME Chill.
We went there to celebrate the birthday of my Father-in-law and we were given a simple cake by the hotel and they were very interested to help up us on celebrating the special day.
Hotel has a nice pool and its clean as well. Rooms are clean and washrooms are clean. Value for money. Service is really good. Very pleasant team and helpful.
Food was not upto standard but can manage.
Overall an amazing stay. We met South Indian actor John Vijay on our stay in Oga Reach

They ruined our special day

The location is beautiful and the ambiance very relaxing. We were there to celebrate our special day. We thought that is a good choice this year because we could also visit Kataragama. When we checked-in there was no electricity in the room. So we quickly changed to temple cloths and left. It rained heavily that afternoon. When we returned to the room we found that our first floor room was flooded with water. Luckily our belongings have not got wet. It was impossible to stay in that room. The staff struggled to find us an alternative room because the hotel was full of guests that day. After sometime they shifted us to a rarely used room. It smelled and lacked amenities. So they shifted things from our wet room. The restaurant was not usable because it was wet too. They served the dinner to our room around 9pm. By that time our special day was already in tatters. The next morning they somehow dried the restaurant and served the breakfast buffet around 8 am. We quickly had our breakfast and left vowing never to return there.

Good hotel oga reach

We came to Lanka from Dubai and came to Oga Reach Hotel on the second day..oga reach hotel is an excellent hotel. Excellent service
The room was very spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and had many choices; It was a very extensive buffet spread. The people at reception were very helpful not only at check in and check out but also with directions to places. The location is excellent - the hotel is located near a central lake.. The chef was a young man named Kaweesha who prepared delicious food for us, a very active young man. The rice and curry was delicious and the fried rice was delicious .. I will recommend to friends and will definitely stay again if I visit Kataragama again"
