Very nice place!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Close to the wonderful beach and a great breakfast every morning. It was no problem to check out a few hours later. We highly recommend this place!

Fantastic stay, it was perfect for our escape to come and work remotely.
Wonderful food, very comfy big bed, co working space is brilliant with comfy chairs, right on the beach, but the staff are the kindest and make it a wonderful place. Massive thanks to Ronald and Akif who went above and beyond! 💗

Perfect Spot by the Surf – Relaxed and work!!!

During the short school holiday over the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, we had the chance to visit our family favourite, Weligama, to enjoy the sun and the sea.
We walked into Outpost Weligama for a quick lunch. It’s a great spot, especially for surfers, but also a calm and relaxing place where you can just sit back or even get some work done quietly.
The kids enjoyed their snacks, and the staff were very attentive to our requests. The location is right on the surfing point of Weligama Bay, which adds to the whole experience.
Overall, a good place with reasonable prices. Happy to recommend.

Staff steals money and refuses to help

At the beginning we were very happy with the hotel. But after a while we noticed money missing from our bags. Some food was stolen from the fridge and the stuff in our suitcases were displaced. We counted our money again to be sure, and later that day even more was missing. When we consulted the staff, we were first met with understanding. But later, we were told that they could not give us the stolen money because they could not be sure who stole it. The reseptionist, who was very unprofessional and rude, did not want to help us at all. If you go here, use the safe and count your money every day.

Room and bathroom were great. The staff were excellent. Pool was OK, lounging area a bit small. Restaurant downstairs is overpriced.
