3 night stay

Very clean and nice, minimalist room,in a quiet but central location and with really friendly and welcoming hosts. There is a little kitchen and a fridge inside the house that you can use. It was perfect for us! The hosts helped us with renting a scooter and a tuk tuk for our drive to tangalle. And let's not forget the very comfortable bed and good shower pressure :)

Depends on what you’re looking for

• good location, central, close to beach, shops and restaurants
• good WiFi
• manager is very helpful and kind
• spacious room and bathroom
(-)
• very hot, it will take a few minutes for the room to cool off after switching on the A/C
• no power generator during blackouts
*Overall: I wouldn’t stay here if I return to Mirissa. I would pick another place. I stayed there for 1 night only so it wasn’t a big deal for me

Super nice

Very friendly and helpful staf. We extended our stay a few times as this was a great location to start many day trips from. Very clean and spacious enough. Special thanks for sorting out our safari tour Sambal! We really enjoyed the safari as the driver was great.

These brothers know how to host

Staying at the Cocoon and as Irish’s and his brother’s guest has been the most heartwarming adventure in years. They really went the extra mile several times to make my stay pleasant. Like calling the near by excellent rotti place that I’m coming and to take good care of our guest. And they sure did.
The room was all new, extremely clean with a very comfortable double bed and aircon. The best shower on this trip, with good water pressure. The place is located in Udupila road so there are multiple good restaurants around. The place is few hundred meters from the beach. I was lucky to stay there in offseason so the I got good prices, perfect weather and no tourists.
Irish’s brother is always around to help with things and booked a whale watching trip for me and two other guests with very reasonable price.
All I can say is, this is a home away from home. The hosts make it that way, and they will take good care of you, with heart.

A really good place to stay!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The family who run the hotel were so thoughtful and helpful when we needed to make arrangements for drivers etc. It was peaceful and quiet at night even though we were close to the beach, restaurants and shops. I really recommend staying here!
