Disappointing and would not recommend at all!!

We had booked this place for 3 days and had to leave after one night stay. The hotel was very sub-standard and had no other in-house guests. The pool didn’t look clean and kids didn’t want to use it. There was no hot water in the bathroom and the toilet seat was broken and couldn’t lock the bathroom door. The room itself was not maintained and bedding didn’t look as clean. The breakfast was awful and served in building that is under construction with rain water on the floor. The hotel seem to didn’t care where the food was served and none of the kids touched any food there. It was good to get out of there after one night! Very disappointing and would not recommend!

Mold on the pillow's

After the first night i felt sick, checked the pillows and they were full of mold. I reported it and the staff was rude and brought me a different pillow after i had to ask 4 times. The pillow was even dirtier than the first one (see pictures). We booked directly, and after 4 extremely dirty pillows. We decided to leave. No were did it say it was non refundable when booking or checking in. There were 2 more guest who left for the same reason.
The communication with the manager and staff is extremely unprofessional. When we left the first thing they said is that they are going to rent out te room again, even when we paid for 4 days and they refuse to give the money back.
Advice, don't go here at all. If you go. Don't pay up front, check the rooms and make sure it's clean and not a health risk.
At this moment they have a construction site next to the pool and it get very loud.

Literally a building site.

A building site.
Arrived for our 4 night stay shocked to see that the area infront of the pool to the road is a building site. Definitely wouldn't have booked it had we known in advance. We stopped 1 night hoping it wasn't going to be noisy but we were woken around 7am with the noise. Breakfast was poor, no choice given other than tea or coffee and, after asking where we got the breakfast from, we were presented with a plate of tasteless items. Disappointing when you consider what wonderful food there is in Sri Lanka. By this point we were very much regretting moving from our last hotel in Tangalle. We informed them we weren't going to stay for the rest of our booking and requested a refund for 2 nights. We were told no refunds! Needless to say we moved on and have written this review so others are aware.
On the positive it is close to the beach and places to eat. The room was clean.
Wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you don't mind it being part of a building site.

Disappointing Stay in the Deluxe Suite

The hotel is surrounded by works, which affects the experience quite a bit. We booked the deluxe suite and encountered several problems: the Jacuzzi was not working, the toilet cistern was not working either, and the sink barely had room to be used comfortably. The room, in general, was quite unkempt (I recommend looking at the pictures).
Breakfast was correct in quantity and taste, although there were many flies, something that proved uncomfortable.
In short, a disappointing stay for what was expected of a deluxe suite, with many aspects to improve both in maintenance and cleaning.

Dreadful hotel

Hotel is not like the photos on booking.com .It's very rundown .The area near pool toilets and stairs is filthy and smells. There are piles of broken furniture and rubbish bins in view from the pool and restaurant.
Breakfast was cold and terrible choice. As the pancakes were just about ok we asked on second day for them They said no pancakes today and refused to make some for us.Wwe booked 10 nights for a rest at the beach. We left after 2 nights. It was disgusting.
I would not recommend this hotel.
