Comfortable, friendly and great breakfast's

Clean rooms and ensuite, hot water ,friendly helpful people great location and really great breakfast's, i really enjoyed my stay there

Clean large room with amazing breakfast and hosta

Big room and huge tasty breakfast. Great hosts. Helped us find scooters and put us on a bus. They also provide dinners for a reasonable price. Nice place to sit outside in a covered area when it’s raining. They even let you park your scooter under it. Reasonably priced for the area.

Awesome place and delicious food "thusi is cool men

I had a great time with thusis place was really awesome. And his family also gave me to well priority no words to say brilliant and very very reasonable price but service absolutely high than room price organic food socially rice and curry delicious.. No common western break first.. It all traditional.. I was so happy thanks thusi next time I will be expend more times with you and highly recommend if any body going to sigiriya pleas contact thusi You can expend awesome times with thusi family... God bless thusi proberbly next year again will visit you place

Overall a pleasant stay

The Pros:
the hosts: very nice, friendly and welcoming. They helped us arrange everything we needed (we went on a day-trip to Anuradhapura and Mihintale with the host - by car).
Great and huge breakfast (huge variety of tasty food including fresh fruit). Dinner was also great, all prepared by the host family. And at a very reasonable price!
Location is convenient for the Lion Rock climb - 15min walk or a short tuk-tuk ride to the entrance.
Rooms were very basic, but spacious and clean, there are mosquito nets above the beds.
The cons:
It's next to the main road, so it can be a bit noisy during the day. At night (after 11pm) it's surprisingly quiet. Sleep quality could be improved by providing better pillows and mounting nets above the door vent. But as mentioned, the rooms were clean.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our three nights here. The owners do a great job of looking after their guests. You could tell that they would do anything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and would go out of their way to help. The food is amazing. Breakfast is served each morning and they give you enough for at least double your party size! They will also provide dinner if you ask for it which is delicious. The location is great for walking to lion rock. The only downside was that the power cut out several times while we were there and without the fan on the heat is unbearable. I'm not sure if the power outage was just at their place or an area was affected.
