A hotel with very friendly staff
Oh, how good it is to sleep under the sound of ocean waves, drink coffee in the sun at dawn or read a book sitting on the balcony.
Cozy rooms, delicious food and very friendly staff who do everything to make your stay at the hotel as comfortable as possible.

Cool hotel a couple of meters from the ocean and great staff.
First impression of the hotel: "God, how humid, how noisy, and how empty." Empty room walls, no decor, traces of humidity everywhere- walls, floors... The ocean is noisy, loud, very loud. Exactly a day later you realize: humidity - everywhere along the coast, ocean noise does not interfere at all when the door is closed (and when it is open it does not interfere much, to be honest). The room had 2 air conditioners, all worked, all good.
Breakfasts are not very varied, but hearty: fruit (usually pineapple, banana, mango or papaya) and smoothies. It goes to every breakfast. Next to choose from: English or continental. Difference in one entry: In English bread plate and separately butter, marmalade, in continental: waffles.
In addition, breakfast includes an egg: fried, boiled or scrambled, plus tea and coffee of choice. All in all, not a bad starter kit to start the day.
There's also a Lankan breakfast that you need to order one day in advance. This breakfast includes curry (enough spice) and tea and coffee, and of course fruit.
There's also a la card menu, where there's quite a selection of positions.
All the staff have become like family - all smiley, positive, always helpful, going to the meeting. Cool hotel manager, always smiling, positive. Cool security - smiley uncles who will meet you even if you return to the hotel late at night and escort you if you're on an early morning field trip.
I'm not going to say super-perfect cleaning, but we've had enough overall. Changing towels, cleaning floors, can fold your stuff sometimes, always making the bed. Trying. Maybe they don't always know how to do it, but they make the most of how they see it and how they know it. There's room to grow.
The view from the balcony-- you can't describe it in words. It's like a picture that can stand on your desktop, only better.
There's a pool-- always clean, comfortable temperature. If burned in the sun - swim in it as never useful, as it is ideally located one side in the shade, the other sun.
Very good location: around the corner of the hotel bus stop where cruise bass runs, and across the street plus a hundred meters: wait for the station.
There's a shop across the street where you can always buy basic necessities, and a cute knock-tooth who inflates prices, but if anything, can also give you a lift. To the main street of Unawatuna, where all the traffic, drive by tuk-tuk for 15 minutes, and costs about 400-600 rupees (as you bargain).
I recommend this hotel and will always remember the cool holidays in it.
