A gem in nature and by the sea
A wonderful experience in nature, sea and tranquility. We came by boat and lay in the marina. Were well taken care of both by the harbor master, restaurant, bar and spa.
Incredibly nice environment, waking up in the bay and bathing.
The spa is tastefully decorated with well-chosen details and textiles. Smartly divided with several hot springs outside. Plenty of seats to lie and read or rest. Love the products that are available to use and to buy, Kerstin Florian.
The bar staff at Bloom were very service-minded , even the elderly woman at the front desk who made sure a child who had dropped his ice cream got a new one.
A place to return at least once a year if you want peace and quiet.

Quiet and relaxing in August
We chose to visit after many started working so the spa part was quiet and there was plenty of room. It made us feel very positive. The environment is beautiful and soothing. We also tried a treatment - the massage was good and scented. We had bought a package with accommodation and dinner that felt affordable. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was good with good wine suggestions. Good breakfast. We also had lunch which was also good. There were quite a lot of people in the restaurant for lunch and dinner despite the midweek so table book is necessary. Relative to the package price we got, this was clearly worth a 4 - very good quality at the price.

The best Hotel Spa in Sweden, top tier, incredible, super warm and welcoming staff and environment. Extremely family friendly. Delicious high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Top class! View remarkable, calm and relaxing. Great facilities tennis, padel or golf. Elegant spa facilities bastu, pools, showers etc. including the team. Worth the money.
Keep up the great work see you again next year! I forgot to take the name of the welcoming team, warmed our hearts.

We stayed in a dog-friendly ground-floor room in a quiet area of the hotel. It was a good size and came with a comfortable dog bed and two bowls, which we appreciated. There was also enough space for a travel cot. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. However, the room lacked storage, with no wardrobe, bathroom shelves, minibar/fridge or safe.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. Staff entered despite our “Do Not Disturb” sign while our baby was napping, yet the room wasn’t cleaned when we later requested it. The hotel and room were clean overall, although there were noticeable spider webs around the outdoor dining areas.
Bloms Bar seemed understaffed during the day, so guests often had to order food and drinks at the bar rather than receiving table service outside.
The hotel is quite restrictive for dogs, which also limits dining options, as dogs aren’t allowed in the Brasserie. We travelled with a toddler and appreciated the children’s menu and discounted main courses, but families should note that children under 6 aren’t allowed in the spa or relaxation areas. Access to the surrounding water is also limited, making swimming with young children difficult.
The spa was very busy, although my mineral scrub treatment was excellent. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but some rooms may be better equipped, and it’s probably best suited to adults rather than families with young children or dogs.

Great environment – but many details need improvement
Smådalarö Farm is located in a fantastic environment and the surroundings are really wonderful. Breakfast was good, but we only discovered later that there was another room with pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. When you enter, you think the entire breakfast is in the first room, so clearer signage would have been appreciated.
The food was generally quite uneven. The steak didn't taste bad, but given the price we had expected more. It lacked a properly browned and crispy roasting surface and barely seemed to be salted or peppered. An expensive meat dish needs to be prepared with more care and feel better than anything you can easily make at home. The selection also felt rather monotonous, as the à la carte menu, the snack menu and the restaurant's other dishes were very similar. It was sad that there wasn't even a simpler option like a sandwich or burger.
The spa area is beautiful, but we didn't really understand the point of four different pools when the experience in them was quite similar. It would have been nice to have more variety. When it is about 30 degrees outside, the temperature in the pools could also be slightly lowered.
The slippers were only available in one size and were far too big for my very small feet. There should at least be two different sizes. And my robe was broken.
The most serious problem was that we could not lock the door to our room. In the end we had to put something in front of the door, which is of course not a good solution and something the hotel needs to fix.
Overall, the environment is fantastic and the location has great potential, but given the price level, several details, especially the food, the service around the rooms and the variety of offerings, need to be of a higher level.
