Authentic

Old-fashioned family hotel in its operation, rooms, and common areas, modern in its amenities. Clean and quiet. Inexpensive for the quality of service. Washcloths... rare in hotels these days. Pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the place. The lady at the front desk on Sunday morning was pleasant, happy to answer our questions, especially when we talked about the history of the hotel. Too bad we only met her at checkout. The other receptionists are professional and friendly but not talkative. The breakfast is super varied in a large room. Coffee, tea, fresh water at the front desk.

Charming Hotel

Good location not far from the centre and near tram stops, plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It an old style hotel but that only added to the charm. There is an old style lift where you have to open and close the doors yourself or you can use the modern one, the old one can only fit 2 people at most. Lovely paintings throughout the hotel which was done by a local artist.
There is a fridge in the room, no AC in the room but they have provided fans. There is no kettle but there is hot water in the lounge area where there is also free coffee and snacks.
Good breakfast hot and cold food, plenty of choices and a toaster. I stayed here for 3 nights, if I were to come back I would stay here again.

Stayed at Hotel Lorensberg for a concert at Ullevi and was really pleased with the stay. Booked a single room so was no frills but cpean, cosy and perfect for what I needed for. Hotel is well situated with easy transport options from Gotenborg Landvetter, with a regular airport bus stopping 5-10min walk away, and easy transport links with a tram stop around the corner into different parts of the city. Gotenborg is very walkable too and from the hotel you're within a 10-25 walk of lots of attractions, amenities and more. Also importantly, they offer a great breakfast buffet too!

Another great stay!

We have relatives that live in the vicinity of Göteborg. Over the years when visiting the city we have stayed at a number of different hotels. For more than 20 years our first choice has been, and will remain, the Hotel Lorensberg. It is cosy, friendly, centrally located, and, in general, a great place to stay!

Spacious and good. Was very quiet when to sleep at night. A big plus was that there was fridge. Breakfast was 10 out of 10.
