Disaster
I had a stay at Ariston Lidingö Tuesday to Thursday this week, the check-in and the girl on the phone who helped was incredibly nice.
However, the room was dirty, stains in the shower, the smell of mold, stains on the carpet, the blind string was gone and therefore could not be pulled down and up.
I am also allergic, as in the previous email I have both written and talked several times with you on the phone and email asking about the allergy friendly range for both gluten and lactose intolerance, where I get the answer that there are both and we should feel welcome.
When we come down to breakfast there is ONE kind of bread roll, cheese, ham and spotted sausage, cucumber and orange.
Where is the allergy friendly supply?
There were no staff to ask, when is the reception staffed?
Incredibly disappointed.

Don't live here if you can live somewhere else
As the headline says, I would not stay here again if I had any other option.
Let's start with check-in. There are no front desk staff. The card keys are in a basket on the left top of a cabinet when you enter. Then you should call from a landline phone to a person and state your name and then you should hold your card to a card reader, which the person on the phone activates the card with and tells you what room number you have been given.
The room we got, room number 2, was spacious with a carpeted floor. There was no ceiling lamp and only one bedside table lamp, two different kinds of bedside tables. The beds consist of a spring base with a thin mattress topper, the beds were not of the same size guessing an 80 and a 100 bed. The bedding looked freshly washed. The shelf where you hung your jacket was incredibly dusty. In the closet was a carpet rolled up and a broken roller blind thrown in. The room is extremely responsive and you hear every step the guest above takes (and other sounds that you might rather not hear from other guests). There is also thin glass in the windows, which makes you hear a lot of the sounds from outside.
Large bathroom however quite moldy joints in the shower corner, there were disposable packs of shower gel.
Breakfast was somewhat limited but quite ok. However, the bread was not fresh but rather dry.
The only positive thing about the hotel is that there is free parking outside. Will not stay here again and do not recommend it

City visit to Stockholm
Hotel was clean but quite dated and basic.
Towels not changed and beds not made during stay.
No tea/coffee in room.
About 20 minutes outside of Stockholm centre.
However Reason - receptionist was extremely helpful giving tips on travel and places to visit.
Bought an SL travel card approx £37, but we were able to travel on buses, trains, boats .
Breakfast was good - plenty of choice .
Towels not changed and beds not made during stay.
No tea/coffee in room.
About 20 minutes outside of Stockholm centre.

Worst hotel in 20 years as a travel fitter.
Like many people, they thought it's cheap, but how bad can it be.
If you get what you pay for, you should get paid to stay in this rathole of a hotel.
Black mold in the shower. There's no shampoo. The carpet is clearly dirty/gravely and you feel that it hides something more than raising the feeling. Power sockets hang from the cables. Painting and wallpaper have not been reviewed in the last ten years. TV without remote control. The bathroom wasn't cleaned. Low pregnancy test in the bathroom cabinet.
I'm sure I can make the list about the room longer.
You have simply changed the bedding and stretched up the bed. The rest has been left alone.
The first feeling in the “lobby” was that this place is closed. We've come to the wrong place.
Unmanned reception. You have to call to activate your room card. It's ok but no sense that the person answering the phone is interested.
Breakfast. Mm. Yes it served sandwich yoghurt boiled egg and coffee. That's all it is. Minimal. Boring. And the woman who sets up breakfast seems generally bothered by the intrusion.
Clearly, I would say that this place is not paid a dime for. Better check into a hostel. Or why not a tent. It doesn't get any worse than this.
Shut down this hotel so more people don't have to do this shit.

Terrible!!!!
Don't live here! We booked 2 nights and had to escape from there late at night to another accommodation because of bed bugs!!!!
We called the staff who answered that they were fully booked and could not help us in any way! Do not move us, or limit / sanitize in any way or compensate!
In addition, there was no heating in the room and we had to sleep with our clothes on. When I called attention to this, we got a broken radiator!
