Overlooking the garden, all guest rooms at Hallebergs Bed & Breakfast have a either shared or private bathroom facilities. A communal kitchen is available to all guests. Hallebergs B&B also offers a patio with BBQ facilities, and a shared lounge with a fireplace. Skara Sommarland Water Park is a 16-minute drive away. Cosy traditional B&B with good facilities

Small B&B in an old farmhouse (approx 4 rooms). Comfortable and relaxed ambience. We. Furnished in traditional style. “Do-it-yourself” breakfast from a well-stocked fridge. Kitchen includes a generous dining table (there is also a dining room) and cooker, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher etc. Located close to the road from Skara to Fälköping, so easy to find but can be a bit noisy.

Nice and well located B&B

We planned to see the cranes at Lake Hornborga. In our search for a place to stay near the lake we found this B&B. It's about a 5 minute drive from the crane viewpoint. It's a cosy B&B, the rooms are simple and nicely decorated. The room was reasonably clean for our standards, not spotless. There is lots of space to have breakfast - self service, the fridge is packed with nice food. There are lots of other common rooms to sit, even a nice porch at the back.
The nearest town is Skara but this is a 10 minute drive. Skara has a limited choice of restaurants but you can also buy food and prepare your own dinner at the B&B.
Tip for the owners: include the country code (+46) on the phone numbers at the door :)

What a disaster, wanted to check in, owners nowhere to be found.

We booked this B&B because it looked so nice, and when we arrived I wanted to make sure where it was before heading off for the day's activity. The owner was there and very pleasant and have to say we were looking forward to returning. However, when we returned, they were nowhere to be found. Other guests tried to help us and there were some phone numbers to call, however we tried to call but could not get through on our UK mobile. In the end we got tired of just standing there with our bags not knowing what to do, so we left and found alternative accommodation. It would have been helpful if there was some explanation from the owners if there were not actually on site as to what to do, and if they expected people to call, perhaps a facility to do this or explanation on how to call from a non-Swedish mobile.

Ålderdomlig atmosfär på landet

Vi behövde ett bra boende ett par nätter medan vi utforskade den här delen av Västergötland och valet föll på Hallebergs Bed & Breakfast 7 km sydost om Skara. Den gula byggnaden, som liknar ett välbärgat hemman och har en lång historia som bland annat skjutsstation, har fungerat som bed & breakfast i femtontalet år. Här finns ett gemensamt, välutrustat kök där man själv plockar sin frukost ur kylskåpet, urvalet är gott och var och en kan hitta sin frukostfavorit. Här finns också ett stort samlingsrum med öppen spis och en takförsedd uteplats med grillmöjlighet (grillkol finns att få). De fem rummen är inredda i en äldre stil med murriga tapeter, vårt hade bra sängar, en liten toalett med dusch och minimalt tvättfat samt ett separat rum med bäddsoffa och TV.
Dörren är låst med kodlås, koden får man vid ankomsten då värden dyker upp och visar runt. Annars får man klara sig på egen hand vilket fungerar alldeles utmärkt.
Vi bodde här i två nätter och fick ett intryck av en något ålderdomlig atmosfär blandat med moderna inslag som det moderna kodlåset. Läget är ocentralt på landet, om än nära stora bilvägen. Att wifi:n saknar lösenord uppskattade jag däremot inte, systemet blir ett enkelt mål för trollfabriker och hackare. Men priset är å andra sidan gynnsamt. Om vi skulle komma tillbaka? Kanske.

Fint hus i vacker milljö

I fräscha rum bor man nära naturen. Bra promenadermed hund.
Frukosten fick man ta själv. Mycket att välja på.
En omtänksam värd. Fräscha stora rum med goda sängar .
Tillgång till gemensamt kök vilket gjorde det möjligt att laga middag på stället
