Pounding base until 1am
Lovely hotel, well designed, comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast. Rooms a bit on the small side but comfortable, good bed. The restaurant is good but not exceptional, but there are other restaurants on the island (Dykarbren was excellent) and the island is beautiful. But... far from the haven of peace and tranquillity that the hotel professes to represent, it is a bit of a party island for hotel guests and the yachting fraternity, and the centre of the party is the bar at the Seglarhotel. Pounding bass until almost 1am did not make for a good night's sleep, complaints were not acted on. Shame, as the rest of the experience was very good.

At the same time, we are truly sorry that the noise from the terrace disturbed your sleep. While Sandhamn can be lively during the summer season, the sound level you describe is not the restful experience we want our guests to have. We are especially sorry that your concerns were not properly addressed when you raised them.

Awful nights sleep
Nice modern room, but don’t book if you actually want to sleep at night. There is a club in the hotel that carries on until 3am, and you can hear the bass of every song coming through the walls, making sleep impossible. Management were unhelpful and unsympathetic. How they can charge 3800kr per night for a room is a joke.

Tack för att du delar med dig. Tråkigt att lunchen inte levde upp till förväntningarna – varken toast Skagen eller dagens fisk ska lämna det intrycket. Vi tar med oss din feedback till köket och hoppas få möjlighet att ge dig en betydligt bättre matupplevelse nästa gång.

A very disappointing stay.
I’ve checked into a dirty room. My bed had a stained matress cover with blood and a big yellow stain that looked like pee. I didn’t see it until the next morning because I didn’t look when I went to bed. The bed had a bad smell and the room as well.
I was discussed so I had it changed but the cleaning ladies did not apologize or explain how this happened. It is disgusting!!
I stayed 5 nights and the bad smell seemed to come from a stain on the carpet ( possibly a dog pee). My room’s view was partially very nice and partially gave onto the back of the kitchen with crushing glass noises and a constant engine sound at night from the hotel kitchen refrigeration.
The terrace is very lively and loud music plays until 1am that you can hear from your bed as if playing in your room.
The cleanliness in the Spa is also to be desired. The floor is dirty since you can come in with outside slippers.
A very disappointing stay. We came last year and didn’t have all these problems. But the biggest problem for me was the dirty matress cover which left me grossed out for the entire stay.

The gym should be updated!
The gym is beneath contempt! Too few weights, broken gear. Lacks lots of simple (read cheap) accessories for the cabel cross machine. Told to the reception for 1-2 years but no one cares.

Tack för att du säger till. Det är inte okej att du har behövt lyfta detta under så lång tid utan att se någon förbättring. Vi tar kritiken på största allvar och kommer att gå igenom både de trasiga redskapen, vikterna och de tillbehör som saknas till kabelmaskinen. Gymmet ska självklart hålla en betydligt bättre nivå än den du beskriver.
