Great experience

Last-minute booking of a room for three people following the cancellation of another activity due to the weather. CHF 150.-, breakfast included for everyone in July, it is affordable.
The B&B is located in an old military fort that notably includes a museum and occupies the entire island on which it is located.
You therefore have to take a boat to get there from the shore. Either the shuttle every 20 minutes, which is very expensive, or a boat from the local company on which the SL ticket is valid.
If you do not have a picnic, you will have to leave the island to go eat, either in Vaxholm or on the neighboring island of Badholmen. The island's restaurant was indeed closed and no information was available.
Let's get to the room. Large, quiet, and comfortable. Decorated with a certain taste in keeping with this historic place. The beds are a bit soft, but I slept well in them.
The breakfast is hearty and of good quality. One will note the presence of fresh bread, which seems quite rare in Sweden.
Check-in is done simply with a key left in an envelope at the front desk. You put the key back in a box when leaving. It is simple and efficient.
One might perhaps regret the foot traffic of the place which gives a bit of a B&B industry feeling, but I was favorably surprised.

Charming location, facilities and outside scenery (Kastellet and the sea). However, some cleanup and renewal of the area outside of the B&B would be nice.

Totally okay no more

Cozy little B&B with nice rooms. Shared toilet and shower but clean and never “queue”. The breakfast was good, three kinds of bread and basic range otherwise. A little tricky to get to and from when the line ferry is removed since -23 and now you have to rely on the waxholm boat (which runs very rarely) or the pay boat that costs 110: - p / p round trip / return. This lowers the ratings as guests should be able to get to and from the property for free.
